A vacation recommendation
In the hot, blazing sun, it's finally time for summer vacation for us young students in Pakistan, and I am
among them. After studying for a full year, we get this vacation, which lasts two months. This break is
enjoyable for some students, but others may disagree.
I love my vacation and feel grateful for it. Despite the heat, I enjoy simply sitting and watching movies
for long stretches; that's about all I have left to do during my break. Unfortunately, I find myself getting
bored quite often. However, I usually wait for this
time of the year, you see, every year we go on a
trip, and this trip is everything for me.
Just picture this: It's a deep yellow-orange sunset,
with the sun's rays dancing on the surface of the
deep blue sea. The beauty of the night sky,
sprinkled with stars and a glowing moon, creates a
serene atmosphere that can only be experienced at
the Balochistan coast.
Reflecting on my trip from last year, we set off around 3 AM, making sure to pray if it was time for Fajr.
The road can be treacherous, especially since it's a highway that can be pitch dark, but my dad, a skilled
driver, navigated it smoothly. We stopped for lunch in a small town called Winder before reaching Kund
Malir Beach at around 8 AM. After booking a hotel, we headed to Golden Beach, where we found
ourselves completely alone—no dogs, no people, just us. After changing into our beachwear, we
ventured into the water, marveling at the variety of marine life and the crystal-clear waves, all while
being surrounded by towering mountains. Later, as dinner was being prepared, we returned to Kund
Malir Beach to witness its breathtaking sunset. That night, we relaxed under the clear sky, sitting in
chairs outside our hotel, enjoying the peacefulness. After a delicious dinner, we tucked ourselves into
bed without a care in the world, knowing we’d need to head back home after lunch the next day.
Last year was amazing, and I have high hopes for this year as
well. As we celebrate Eid al-Azha, I look forward to making more
memorable experiences. I highly recommend everyone to visit
the Balochistan coast via Kund Malir and Golden Beach, while
the journey may be long and costly, it is an unforgettable
experience. I'm sure your parents are planning some sort of
vacation since we hardworking students are on a break and will
return to our studies with renewed energy.
