Reflections On Christmas
Reflections On Christmas
Before thinking that a Christian is ignorant or fanatical for not celebrating Christmas,
reflect on the information in this text and take this moment as a
opportunity for you to discover different things that may make more sense to
that this party which is usually celebrated on December 25 as if it were the
birth of Jesus.
The first question that needs to be asked is this: do you usually do things
because others do it or because you are aware of what you are doing? Nelson
Rodrigues already said that "all unanimity is foolish"! Thus, it may be worth it.
distrust the unanimity.
Considering that Christmas is a so-called Christian holiday, we will use some biblical texts.
to reflect whether Christmas is truly a Christian or pagan celebration, starting with a
recommendation of Paul, disciple and apostle of Christ: “that your faith may not rest on
wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” (I Corinthians 2:5).
Where did the tradition of celebrating Christmas come from? The Bible or paganism?
Many never stop to think about why they believe what they believe, about
what certain customs follow, or where they come from. We are born into a
world full of customs: we grow accustomed to accepting them without discussion. Why?
Sheep instinct?
The pagan altars are attractive, structured, architected, they have a design that
impressive, they are eye-catching, charming, with an uncommon creativity; everything is
focused on the outside, on clothing, to draw attention to consumerism.

generation, and every wrong impressionist project, of fraudulent channeling, of teaching
confused about our people, will be brought to the ground because it is prophesied by the Word of God.
We declare that these altars will crumble!
And so, where did the Roman Catholic Church get this custom? Observing the
Bible, we verify that it did not come from it, nor from the first apostles who were instructed.
personally by Christ, nor by the Primitive Church. However, it is known that slowly
this custom was absorbed from paganism by the Roman Catholic Church from the
fourth century.
The 1946 edition of Encyclopaedia Britannica states: "Christmas was not counted among the
first church festivals... It was not instituted by Christ, nor by the apostles, nor
By biblical authority. It was acquired later from paganism.
The Encyclopedia Americana, 1944 edition, states: "Christmas... was not, according to

An important question to observe is that Jesus was not born on December 25.
December. Jesus Christ was not even born in the winter season!

This could never have occurred in Judea in the month of December. The shepherds

Still about the possible birth date of Jesus, Dr. Russel Shedd weaves the
next comment when explaining about the text of Leviticus 23:34: "This first
description of the Feast of Tabernacles, vv. 34-36, also indicates the first
fulfillment of its meaning: it is the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to dwell among the
men. For Jesus could not have been born in December, which is a month of snow in
Jerusalem, during which no flock would be in the fields (Luke 2:8-11). That,
probably, was born during the Feast of Tabernacles, in October, it could be
calculated this way: Zacharias was serving his shift in July (Luke 1:5,8) being from the division of
Abias, the eighth course of the ecclesiastical year that began in March (1 Chron. 24:10). It was the
month of the conception of John the Baptist, Luke 1:23-24, who was born in April of the year
next. Jesus would be born six months later, Lk. 1:26, therefore, during the Feast of
Tabernacles. (Our faucets).
The Word of God says that there are biblical feasts and they are seven. They are not for
they will be kept as law, for Jesus has already fulfilled them in his redemptive act, although the
Christian church believes in Easter, Pentecost, and Harvest of the end times. If the church
celebrates Christmas, she does not have Tabernacle, she has the first day and not the last. If the
church is trapped on the first day, it doesn't have the seventh. If it is on the seventh, it brings
Jesus, but if you're in the first, you need to go through the whole journey of the days again.
following until reaching the seventh. God has already warned through his prophets: we are
at the beginning of the seventh day. It is time for the church to celebrate Tabernacle, because it means the
preparation of the way of the Lord and if you prepare the way for Him to be born no
prepare the way for Him to return.
Christmas is to bind Jesus in the celebration of his birth and to forget about Jesus in
celebration of the return. It is to extinguish the light of revelation and understanding and not to glimpse.
that He is at the door. It is to centralize the vision on the tangible and to forget the spiritual, right?
to manage to contemplate what God is showing. At no time does the Bible command
celebrate the birth of Jesus. Christmas and its decorations, and Easter with its little bunnies and
chocolate eggs. All of this has a purpose: to perpetuate pagan customs. Rome
distorted the Christian festivities, but we have the mission to resist everything that is not in line with
according to the Word of God, if we want to please Him.
Christmas today is just a commercial cult that makes a lot of money. Everything is
the reason for large acquisitions, but the exaltation to the King of kings does not exist. At most,
there is an exaltation of the baby Jesus, who no longer exists, for He has grown, fulfilled the
your mission on earth, died and powerfully resurrected, and is seated at the right of
God the Father, ruling in the highest position of the celestial sphere. He is the Creator of
the universe and by Him, through Him and for Him all things came to exist. And the best part, He will
back! We lost time, paying homage to those showcases invaded by gnomes,
that no matter how cute and 'nice' the media and the 'Christmas spirit' try to make us
they actually are nothing more than DEMONS that inhabit forests and trees.
This is not simply a mystical issue but a reality of spiritual battle.
The Barsa Encyclopedia, vol. 11, page 274, states the following about Christmas: "The current date
was established in the year 440 in order to Christianize great pagan festivals held on this day:
Mitraic festival (Persian religion that rivaled Christianity in the first centuries)
which celebrated the Natalis Invicti Solis (Birth of the Unconquered Sun) and several others
festivities arising from the winter solstice, such as the Saturnalia in Rome and the
solar cults among the Celts and the Germans. The central idea of Christmas masses
it clearly reveals this origin: the nights were longer and colder, so all these
rituals, propitiatory sacrifices were offered and supplications were made for the return of light.
(Our faucets).
Nimrod, grandson of Cain, son of Noah, was the true founder of the system.
Babylonian that still dominates the world of empires and governments of man, based on
economic system of competition and profit. Nimrod built the Tower of Babel,
Primitive Babylon, the ancient Nineveh, and many other cities. He organized the first
kingdom of the world. The name Nimrod, in Hebrew, derives from 'Marad', which means 'he
rebelled.
A lot is known from many old documents about this individual who distanced himself.
from God the man, beginning the great profane apostasy, and well organized that has
dominated the world until today. Nimrod was so wicked that it is said he married his
own mother, whose name was Semiramis. After her premature death, her mother-
wife, Semiramis, spread the evil doctrine of the survival of Nimrod as a
spiritual entity. She claimed that a large pine tree had grown overnight,
a piece of dead tree, and symbolized the blossoming of the dead Nimrod into a
new life.
Every year, on the day of her birth anniversary, she claimed that Nimrod would visit.
the evergreen tree and would leave gifts on it. Nimrod's birthday was the 25th
of December. This is the true origin of the Christmas tree!
Even the Jewish people were contaminated by these idolatrous customs and
he experienced a reprimand from God because of these practices, through the prophet
Jeremiah, approximately 700 years before the birth of Jesus, recorded in the Bible

in Jeremiah, chapter 7, verses 16 to 20: "Therefore do not pray for this people, nor...
Do not raise any cries or prayers for him, nor plead with me, for I will not listen to you.
Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of
Jerusalem? The children gather the wood, and the parents light the fire, and the women
they prepare the dough to make cakes for the Queen of Heaven, and they offer libations to
other gods, to provoke me to anger. Is it me that they provoke to anger? Say
YAHWEH, and not themselves, for the confusion of their faces? Therefore thus says the
Lord GOD: Behold, my wrath and my fury will be poured out upon this place,
about men and about animals, and about the trees of the field, and about the fruits of the
earth; and it will be ignited, and it will not be extinguished." (Our emphasis).
Therefore, during the fourth and fifth centuries after Christ, when hundreds of
thousands of pagans in the Roman world were adopting the new popular "Christianity," leading to
I obtain your ancient beliefs and pagan customs, covering them under Christian names,
the idea of the Madonna and the 'virgin and child' became popularized, especially
during the Christmas season. Christmas cards, decorations, and representations of
nativity scene, the songs of Christmas night, with its 'Silent Night', repeat year after year
this popular theme of 'the virgin and the child'.
We, who were born into a world full of Babylonian customs, raised and
immersed in these things our whole life, we were taught to revere these things
like saints and sacred. We never investigated to see where they came from – if they came from
Holy Bible, or from pagan idolatry. And so, when we observe the facts, we find ourselves
greatly surprised to learn that the practice of observing Christmas is not, after all,
a true Christian practice, yet a pagan custom - one of the paths of
Babylon in which the world continues to follow.
God responds through His written Word, in Proverbs 14:12: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death."
There are paths that seem right to a man, but their end is the way of death!
It is also written in Deuteronomy 12:30-32: "... Take heed, lest you be ensnared"
following the customs of the idolatrous nations)...; and do not inquire about their
gods, saying: Just as these nations served their gods, in the same way
I will also do it. Thus you shall not do to YAHWEH your God; for everything that is
abominable to YAHWEH, and that he hates, they made to their gods; for even their
sons and their daughters burned in the fire to their gods. Everything that I command you,
you will observe to do; you shall not add anything to it nor take anything away from it.
God categorically affirms, in His Book of instructions for us, that He will not
to accept this type of worship, even though done with the intention of honoring Him. For Him,
as it is written in Your Word, you are using what is ABOMINABLE to You, and
this honors not Him, but the false pagan gods. And it concludes by saying that we must
do exactly as He Himself taught, adding nothing and taking nothing away from
your teachings.
Jesus confirms these words in the New Testament: "But in vain do they worship me,
teaching doctrines that are commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9). The observance of
Page 6 of 10
Christmas is a PRECEPT OF MEN and this was prohibited by God, as we have seen.
Moreover, Jesus said: "And so you invalidated, by your tradition, the commandment of
God" (Matthew 15:6).
This is precisely what millions of people are doing today: ignoring the
God's commandments. He commands us not to repeat the customs of the pagan nations.

The rest of the chapter shows the stern exhortation that God gives to His people. Why?
Because I brought into the house a custom of the pagan people. Do you want to preserve a

2. Candles
The candle is a pagan ritual dedicated to the ancestral gods; the lit candle is
reviving the ritual of the solstices, keeping the sun god alive. Within the schools
Those who study paganism refer to candles as demons; it is the symbolism of

use candles, when necessary, to light up environments, as decoration or for a
romantic dinner. However, its use for rituals is not recommended or
celebrations, especially birthdays, as they not only symbolically 'call'
strange spirits, if she represents life, she should not be erased.
3. Garlands
They are a symbol related to the god Apollo, bringing honor to Zeus, paying tribute to
Demeter, which in Latin is Ceres, that is, Semiramis, the mother of Tammuz, mother and wife of
Nimrod. It was a ceremony offered to Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz. And where they
are? At the door of houses, shops, offices, in work environments.
It also reproduces the idea of the virgin who will give birth to a son and this virgin presents herself.

with the wreath on her head and the ear of corn in her hand, signaling
fertility. In Egypt, it appears as Isis and Osiris, in India as Isva and Isvra, in Asia
like Cybele and Dionysus, in Rome like Fortuna and Jupiter, in Greece like Irene and
Plutos, and in Babylon as Semiramis and Nimrod; all of them demand the garlands.
They also appear as a sign of reverence to the Phrygian of agriculture, that is, Sabazius,
a god to whom the food is consecrated.
There is not a single connotation regarding the birth of Jesus. The Bible never
announced that Jesus asks for wreaths, or that he has received wreaths in his
birth, because in Israel it was already known that it was part of pagan rituals. There is only
a garland in the Holy Bible and it was made by Rome, to put on the head of
Jesus on the day of his death. There is no other wreath, except this one of thorns, made
as a symbol of scorn.
4. Nativity Scene
The nativity scene is an altar to Baal, consecrated since ancient Babylonian times. It is a
stimulus to idolatry. Who is interested in Jesus still appearing as a child? A
God-boy has no strength, is helpless, dependent on the mother. This is not the case with Jesus, who
exists before the foundation of the world, came in flesh, died on the cross for me and for you,
to fulfill the purpose of his coming to Earth in flesh, he resurrected on the 3rd day, he is
seated at the right hand of God the Father, and it pleased God that all fullness would dwell in him
divinity (Colossians 1:19 and 2:9). Jesus is the brightness of glory and the exact expression.
of God, sustaining all things by the word of his power (Hebrews 1:3). He is
Creator and not creature. In the gospel of John (John 1:3) it is written that 'All things were made through him...'
All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made.” Jesus
it has nothing to do with weakness, but with power and authority, in heaven and on earth. It doesn't work
to compare it with a creature, nor to make it dependent on creation.
San Francisco, in the 18th century, while he was one of the leaders of the Catholic Church,
established the nativity scene to remember the Christmas festivities, in fact a summons
which leads people to have limited faith in the material, in what is tangible. It is
directly related to the solstice rituals. How? The props found in
called nativity are symbolisms used in the festival of the sun god.
In many nativity scenes, there is the presence of the Three Wise Men. However, there is no record in
Holy Bible that affirms they were in the stable. In Luke 2:11, it is written
the magi found the boy Jesus and Mary, his mother, at home. Therefore, more
a deception, another lie. Who is the father of lies?
Be free! Flee from idolatry; so says the Word (I Corinthians 10:14-15 and Galatians 5:19-21).

In December... the legend is told according to which he secretly gifted three daughters of
a very poor man... gave rise to the custom of giving gifts secretly in the
eve of Saint Nicholas Day (December 6), a date that was later moved to the
Christmas.
Hence the association of Christmas with Saint Nicholas. This figure was canonized to steal the
worship of the one who is the only worthy of worship. Any idol is related to
vanity. The main objective of the darkness is to snatch away our vision of Christ and bring
substitution figures, to cultivate in the hearts of the people a wrong vision of what is the
Kingdom of God. There is a mixture of hedonism with idolatry. Hedonism is that which
It is linked to glutony, to environmental seduction, to what brings pleasure through clothing.
How can one accept a story that talks about an old man who goes out on a
night only, around the world, house to house, delivering gifts? And if you know that
Santa Claus doesn't exist, it's just a joke, because he does everything that the ritual requires.
Christmas? Why do you deceive your children with this story? Why do you allow a lie to
turn into reality in your home? "Like the madman who throws brands, arrows, and death, so it is
The man who deceives his neighbor and says, 'I did this as a joke.' (Proverbs 26:18-
19).
At Christmas, when you enter a shopping mall, who is occupying the throne?
who is given all the honor, to the point that parents take their children to receive blessings and
take photos together, like an idol? Who arrives by helicopter, with all the pomp,
usually in a football stadium, and parents take their children to pay homage to it almost
like a god? Indeed, it has nothing to do with Jesus.
6. Gift exchange
The Nordic ritual required them to go to the mountains in the early morning and there
they would chant in sacrifices. They awaited the first rays of morning sun and delivered
present yourselves to one another in worship, saying: "may you never forget the gods
between us!”. The gift means to eternalize the pact, to bring the blessing of the gods.
Tertullian, a Catholic theologian, said that he could not agree with this lie, the sun.
he can never be God, because the God of the Christians was the one who created the sun.
As for the wise men, they were not instituting a new Christian custom of
exchange of offers with friends to honor the birth of Christ. They acted according to the
ancient Eastern custom of bringing gifts when presenting oneself before a king. They
they appeared before the King of the Jews, in person. The custom dictated that they should offer
any gift, in the same way that the Queen of Sheba brought offerings to the King
Solomon, just like many today who visit a head of state, brings with them a
present.
No! The custom of giving and receiving Christmas gifts has nothing to do with this.
incident recorded in the Scriptures, however the fact is the continuation of an old custom
pigeon.

7. Gluttony
Many remember Christmas as the occasion when they eat better, because of the feast.
Some even feel unwell from eating and drinking so much. People make so much
food for the Christmas dinner, what they eat the leftovers from the dinner for days in a row.
8. Cult of sensuality
The solstice festival was intended to showcase the sensuality of its participants,
attract attention through the displayed beauty. This is currently reflected in the store windows, in the
propaganda where both women and men appear invariably in
sensual positions, and also in the clothes worn by people, especially by
women, with increasingly daring necklines, clothes that have nothing to do with a
religious festival. Why? Because the ritual of the festival demands sensuality. Unfortunately,
this context is present among us.
