THE PROPHETIC PLAN

OF GOD
Bible study about future events

Transc. Uziel Misraim Salazar Álvarez

If you want to understand why things happen and what is going on, let's go to the
Word of God. There we will be instructed about what is really happening.

Without the Bible, it is impossible to understand what happens in our world. And we must not forget
that no matter how catastrophic the outlook appears, God is still in control of everything! How
Blessing that nothing escapes God's hands and everything is under his control!

✓ More than a quarter of the Bible is prophetic.

✓ The Old and New Testament are full of promises about the return of
Christ.

✓ There are over 1,800 references in the Old Testament.

✓ 17 books of the Old Testament emphasize the theme of the return of Christ.

✓ Of the 260 chapters of the New Testament, there are more than 300 references to the return.
of the Lord Jesus, that is, 1 out of every 30 verses.

✓ 23 out of the 27 books of the New Testament mention this great event.

✓ For every prophecy of the first coming of Christ, there are 8 about his second coming.

This tells me that God is excited about the 2nd coming of Christ to this earth, and we
We must be excited that Christ is coming soon for us.

❖ The Book of Revelation: It was written during the days of Emperor Domitian in the
Year 95 AD. He had demanded public worship of himself as a god. He began
a great persecution against Christians and the Apostle John suffered under this
persecution.

Introduction to Prophecy
A) Prophecy:

The word prophecy appears 24 times in the Bible.

In Hebrew, it appears in the Old Testament as 'nebua' and in Greek, it appears

in the New Testament, as 'prophesy'.

In both cases it means 'prediction'.

Prediction: it is a supernatural gift that consists in knowing by divine inspiration.

distant or future things

What is prophecy?

There are many descriptions we could give to this concept but the simplest and
basic is "prescribed history." It is the history that is going to happen, which is already written from
now because God, who is the author of the Bible, already knows what will happen in the future
because He inspired several men to write it.

God's prophecy is exact, precise, and correct. God's prophecy does not have
errors, it has no mistakes, it has no contradictions, it is precise.

B) Every prophecy as such is Biblical.

There are prophecies like Nostradamus that are not Biblical, they are not accurate, they are not
correct, so if they are not from God, whose are they? Also prophecies that say that the
the world is going to end.

❖ There is no part of the Biblical prophecy that does not come from God.

page.3
Regarding the Biblical prophecy, the prescribed history we have, here they did not include
neither Juan, nor Pablo, nor Pedro, nor the prophet Daniel, nor the prophet Isaiah, nor
none of the writers. They only wrote what was inspired by the
Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21

C) The importance of knowing and studying prophecy

1. Blessed is he who keeps the prophecies. Revelation 22:7

How are we going to keep it if we don't study it?

2. To get to know more about the person of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1:1a

Would you like to learn more about the person of Jesus Christ? What does He think, like
It acts, how does it work? The Bible tells us that it is the revelation, the clearer discovery.
the person of Jesus Christ.

3. It reveals to us the purposes of God. Revelation 1:1b

It is tragic how the world lives without fear, without morals. Do you know why? Because not.
they know Jesus Christ and because they do not know the purposes of God, they do not know what
God will do. No person who is not saved can understand the Word of
God. It is tragic and sad that people cannot understand or know the Word of
God, but it is more tragic that in the Church they do not know the Word of God.

4. Blessed is he who reads and hears the Biblical prophecy. Revelation 1:3

D) All the prophecy that God wanted to give us has already been given. Daniel 9:24

❖ God works in this world through Israel.

❖ God sees this world through Israel.

❖ The clock of this world is Israel.

❖ One of the keys to understanding the Bible and what God is doing in this world
it is Israel.

page.4
In Revelation 22:18 it describes that at the end of the words of Revelation 22,
God concluded all His written revelation that He wanted to give us. There are some churches and
pastors who intend to give new revelation and we must understand that God does not speak with the
people nowadays.

❖ There are no personal prophecies. 2 Peter 1:20-21

That is Pentecostal doctrine and it is not correct. 1 Corinthians 4:6

Our rule of faith and practice must be what the Word of God says only.

E) Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10

❖ Jesus is the theme of the prophecy of the Old Testament. Matthew 13:16-17

The Old Testament is about Jesus Christ. John 5:39

❖ There are about 3,330 prophecies about the person of Jesus in the Old Testament.
Will. We can divide them into 8 categories.

In his genealogy.

At His birth.

3. About His Character.

4. From His Life and Work.

5. About His Death and Burial.

6. Of His resurrection.

7. From his ascension.

8. Of His exaltation.

❖ Jesus as a Prophet:

✓ He was a prophet of God. Deuteronomy 18:18-19

✓ It had to be a Jew. John 4:22

✓ He had to be like Moses, giver of God's Law. Matthew 5:21-22

You heard that it was said...but I say to you

page.5
✓ I had to speak on behalf of God. John 7:16

✓ He instructed, prophesied, and performed miracles.

He fulfilled the requirements to be a prophet. Jesus taught doctrine and the doctrine is
important.

page.6
II
Important theological stances to consider for
understand Prophecy.
In every football match, there is a system of rules that serve to make the game
develop in the right way. Just like in every sport, if we don't have rules, we are not going to
understand prophecy and each person will understand what they want.

A) Dispensationalism.

✓ Dispensationalism has nothing to do with salvation (Ephesians 1:10).

✓ It comes from the Greek word 'oikonomia' which means administration.

✓ Dispensationalism is God dealing with this world in different ways, with

different rules, at different times, without having to do with salvation.

✓ Basically, dispensationalism is a theological system that sees God working with the
man in different terms, during different times.

There is only one way of salvation: only through Jesus Christ.

Dispensationalism distinguishes three key principles of Biblical understanding:

❖ A clear distinction between the Church and Israel. 1 Corinthians 10:32

❖ It is a literal and consistent interpretation. Ezekiel 47

We understand what is prophetic, what is allegorical, what is parable and has

its rules, but in general, the Bible is understood literally.

❖ The understanding that the purpose of God is His Glory.

His Glory is more important than the salvation of man.

B) Premillennialism.

We believe in the rapture of the saints before the tribulation. After that, at the end of the
tribulation, it will be the second coming of Christ and then Christ will establish the millennial Kingdom,
finally, there will be the judgment of the great White Throne (at the end of the millennium in the war of Gog and
Magog.

page.7
C) Pretribulation Rapture.

The saints will be taken away before the tribulation. This is in accordance with the
premillennial.

D) Midtribulation Rapture.

They are the ones who believe that the saints will be taken away in the middle of the tribulation.

E) Post-Post-Rubulation Kidnapping.

There are those who teach that the church and the saved will go through the entire tribulation and
they will be taken away at the end of the tribulation.

✓ None of these last two are consistent with the Word of God.

✓ There is another theory called 'partial rapture', and it is those who teach that God only
would take away those who are part of the body of Christ, the church, and others
they will suffer tribulation (this is also not Biblical).

F) Postmillennialism.

This theory teaches that the Kingdom of Christ is being established right now in the in
world through the preaching of the gospel (this is not Biblical).

There are Baptist pastors who believe in the latter. It is important to understand that the Kingdom of
Christ of Jewish-Messianic character. It has to do with Israel. If this position were true and
Christ is establishing his Kingdom, with all due respect to that stance, it is a pretty lousy kingdom.
basically mediocre; polluted, bars everywhere, 26% of the population does not
believe in the Lord and the gospel is preached less and less, there are fewer and fewer missionaries and
More and more believers are straying from the truth.

III
Rules for interpreting Biblical Prophecy.
A) Literalism.

God said what He wanted to say, in the way He wanted to say it, in the form and the words that
He meant to say. 1 Corinthians 4:6 One should not think more than what the Bible says. There is
symbolism and has an explanation within the Bible itself.

B) The Golden Rule.

The Scriptures are interpreted by the same Scripture.

C) Law of double reference.

page.9
It is talking about two different people or events that are separated by a long period of time.
of time, without identification of time between the two events.

We must understand that there was previously no division of verses and chapters.

Examples of this law:

✓ Zechariah 9:9-10. Verse 9 speaks of the first coming of Christ and verse 10 talks about His
second coming.

✓ Isaiah 11:1-4,6. Verse 3 speaks of the first coming of Christ and verse 4 speaks of His
second coming. Verse 6 speaks of the millennium.

✓ He will pour out his Spirit on all people.

31 talk about the tribulation.

The divisions in the text exist since before the captivity in Babylon, but it was the
Archbishop of Canterbury and Stephen Landon and the French cardinal Lugo who made the
division by chapters and then Robert Stephen, an Englishman, put the verses in the 15th century
in the Bible as we know it today.

D) Law of recurrence.

It is when there is a first mention of an event and then there is a second mention of it.
same event but more detailed.

Examples of this law:

✓ Genesis 2:4-7. In chapter 1, it explains everything that God did in 7 days and then in the
Chapter 2 explains everything in detail.

✓ Salvation. We are saved through the sacrifice of Christ. In the Old

Testament, in Genesis, there is a type of Christ in the animal that was used to cover the
the nakedness of Adam and Eve with the skins. Then in Exodus 12 it explains more
in detail, it must be a lamb without blemish and the blood must be applied
for salvation and then in Leviticus it shows us more details about how it should be
the lamb. And then in the gospels comes Jesus and John says: "behold the Lamb of
God who takes away the sin of the world.

E) Law of context.

page.10
A text out of context is just a pretext (to say whatever you want). We have
to understand everything within its context.

Allegorism is not biblical. Allegorism is giving your own opinion about what
It is supposedly saying the text and is based on your background and your opinions.

The Prophetic Plan of God.
Jesus Christ, in his first coming, fulfilled 312 prophecies out of the 417 that had been given.
so that Israel would know its Messiah. Christ came to die, He did not come to establish the Kingdom, the
He preached the Kingdom because he was speaking to Israel and it must be understood that Israel was
waiting for the Kingdom, not the Church.

Many people think that the Church was God's 'Plan B'. Christ, before announcing the Church,
The announcement of His death. In John 1:11 it says that "He came to His own," the word used is "came to His"
subject", to die Isaiah 53. The sacrifice of Christ was planned before the foundation of the
world Revelation 13:8.

We must understand that God is omnipresent and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit also are.
they are eternal. In eternity and omnipresence, there is no time; there is neither present nor past,
in the future. So, for God it is the same to be right now, as to be in the Garden of Eden, as to be with
we, who in the cross, who in the millennium, who in Eternity. For God, time does not exist.
God created time for the measure of our life in this world.

✓ 1 Peter 1:20. He was already destined to die.

✓ Daniel 9:24, Isaiah 53, Psalm 22 teach us about the prophecy concerning Jesus.
I was going to die.

A) The date of the Messiah's death Daniel 9:24-27

This is a prophecy that gives us a specific time frame.

➢From the issuance of the order to rebuild Jerusalem there will be 69 weeks.

➢ After 62 weeks, the life of the Messiah will be taken away.

It was prophesied that he was going to come and when he was going to come and the date he was going to die.

➢ It is 69 weeks, how much is a week in Biblical times?

According to Genesis 29:29 it is 7 years, then:

7 x 69 = 483 years

page.12
In those days, they followed the lunar calendar which consists of 360 days and every 4 years
they added the 13th month which is the month of Adar-two.

Our solar calendar, which we now know, first appeared by the emperor
Julian Roman in the year 45 BC. Later, Pope Gregory changed it. Then:

➢ 483 x 360 days = 173,880 days

When does the countdown begin? v. 25 It tells us that from the issuance of the order to
to build Jerusalem. Daniel was at that time in Babylon and Israel had been destroyed.

In Nehemiah 2, the order was given to rebuild Jerusalem. It was King Artaxerxes who gave the
order.

➢ This was in the year 445 B.C. (of our calendar)

Artaxerxes, in history, came to power in the year 465 BC. Let us remember that before the years
they went backwards. When the year 1 arrives, they decide to change it, then comes year 2, year 3,
etc. There was no year zero. 3, 2, 1, 2, 3

Luke 3 says that in the 15th year (of our calendar) of Emperor Tiberius Caesar,
John the Baptist began his ministry and that year Jesus was baptized by John and it is when
Jesus begins his ministry.

According to history, Tiberius Caesar rose to power in the year 14 AD and had been in power for 15 years.
when Jesus begins his ministry. Then:

➢ 14 + 15 = 29 years. Jesus' ministry lasted 3 years, so:

29 + 3 = 32 years

So Jesus was killed in the year 32 A.D.

page.13
To be more precise, the day when the order to build was given, according to the Royal Observatory
from Greenwich, who are the ones in charge of making the calendars, they say that the date
the 1st of Nisan mentioned in Nehemiah 2 was on March 14 (of our
calendar) of the year 445 B.C.

In John 12 it tells us that Jesus was in Bethany and that the following day (v.12), which was the
first day of the week, Palm Sunday (Leviticus 23:40) 10 of Nisan, that day was the 4th of
April of our calendar. Jesus Christ was arrested on Wednesday night on the 14th day of
Nisan was crucified the next day (which was still the 14th of Nisan). Nisan is the first month
from their calendar. When was the Passover to be sacrificed? On the 14th of Nisan
Levítico 23:5, 2 Crónicas 35:1.Entonces:

➢ 445 + 32 = 477 years (there was no year zero) so:

477–1 = 476 years

➢ 476 x 365 days (from our calendar) = 173,740 days

Our calendar is more accurate and consists of 365 days, 6 hours and a few minutes, and every 4
Every few years there is a leap year and they add an extra day to February to complete those hours.

How many days are there in the leap years of 476 years?

➢ 476 ÷ 4 = 119 days. Then:

173,740 + 119 = 173,859 days

Let us remember that the decree of King Artaxerxes to go and rebuild Jerusalem was on the 14th of
March (March has 31 days). So

➢ 31–14 = 17 days. But it was on April 4 when he was proclaimed King at the entrance.
triumphant in John 12. So:

page.14
17 + 4 = 21 days, then:

173,859 + 21 = 173,880 days

Just as it was prophesied.

v. 26 After the 69 weeks, or 483 years, or 173,880 days.

B) Jesus teaches about the end to the Jews. Matthew 24:1-30

God chose Israel for several purposes. One of them is that they would make known the
name of God to the whole world, the only true God. Only they knew God, the
the rest of the world was pagan, worshiped idols, demons, etc. (Isaiah 43:44) God gave them
the great commission to make known the name of Jehovah to the whole world

Israel did not fulfill the mandate and Jesus comes and sets them apart. Matthew 21:43.

Matthew 24 is the little 'apocalypse' of the gospels and we must understand that
Matthew 24 does not speak to the Church in any sense, He was talking to Jews.

✓ V.2 Jesus gave a prophecy that was fulfilled 28 years later, when he comes the
Roman Empire and destroys Jerusalem in the year 70 AD and the Jewish people are
scattered around the world.

✓ Jesus talks about a person who is coming saying 'I am the Messiah'.
We, as a Church, do not await the Messiah; Israel did await one.
Messiah.

✓ V.9 Jesus told them that a time of persecution would come. The Church is not going to
to go through the great tribulation.

✓ V.13 Here it does not speak of salvation. This refers to all the Jews who
Those who are alive at the end of the tribulation will be saved.

✓ V.20 "day of rest". It is speaking to Jews.

✓ The chosen ones are Israel.

page.15
✓ V.27We do not await the coming of the Son of Man, we await the
snatching.

✓ V. 30,40 Does not talk about rapture.

C) The time of the Church.

In the middle of week 69 and week 70 (the time of tribulation), there is a

unknown time in the Old Testament. Unknown to the Jewish mind and to the
prophets of the Old Testament. Then Jesus comes and explains to them.

That time period is the time of the Church. In Matthew 16:18, Jesus prophesied that
I was going to establish the Church (note that he said it in the future tense).

When did the Church begin? There are two positions regarding this:

The Church began on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2

We must look at some details in this position.

✓ The Church was already gathering before Acts 2

✓ Acts 2:42 says that those who were baptized were 'added' to something.
that already existed.

✓ In Acts 1:15 there were already 120 gathered.

✓ When Jesus rose, they were gathered on Sunday afternoon and 8 days.
Then Jesus appeared to them, already with Thomas, as they were gathered.

✓ The Church already existed before the day of Pentecost.

The Church began in the days of Jesus Christ.

In this position, some details must also be considered.

✓ God does not work with two peoples at the same time. The Church and Israel do not coexist.
to fulfill God's plan. Either God works with Israel or God works with
the Church, not together.

page.16
✓ When does the New Testament begin? It is important to understand that in
Jeremiah 31:31 teaches that God was going to make a new covenant.
(testament) with Israel and this is fulfilled in Matthew 26:26. Then the
The new covenant begins with the resurrection of Christ.

✓ A New Testament church is made up of members.

saved, baptized, and have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them
them. In the days of Jesus, no one yet had the Holy Spirit dwelling
within them except for Lord Jesus

In Matthew 21:43, Jesus set aside Israel because they did not obey the
mandate to carry the name of God to all nations. As was the case with Jonah to
Nineveh. It must be understood that before the cross is Israel and after the cross is the
Church

In Ephesians 3:1, "mystery" means something that had not been revealed before. The Church
It was a 'mystery' in the Old Testament. The mystery, which was given to him by revelation.
(Pablo), it is that the Gentiles are now members of the same body as Him.

We do not derive the doctrine of the Church from the Gospels. There are commandments, practices,
principles, teachings, but the doctrine for the Church is in the writings of Paul.

D) The time of the Gentiles Luke 21:24

It is the period from the Babylonian empire that will last until the end of the
tribulation, when the Gentiles have dominion over the city of Jerusalem.

Currently, the Israeli government and the Jews do not have full control over the city.
from Jerusalem. The mosque, which is in Jerusalem, occupies a large portion of space there.
Jerusalem and the Jews have no control over this place. That's why they cannot enter there.
unless they are practicing Arab or Islamic.

page.17
There have been some efforts to recover all of Jerusalem, but they have been unsuccessful.
For example:

✓ The Maccabean period (164-163 BC). They tried to recover, they recovered the
temple, but not all of Jerusalem.

✓ The first revolt against the Roman Empire (66-67 AD). This was done
for the Jews who wanted to regain their independence and control over
Jerusalem and they could not. Then comes Titus, son of Vespasian, emperor
romano and destroys them, and the diaspora begins.

✓ The second revolt against the Roman Empire (132-135) Again the
Jews wanting to reclaim Jerusalem for themselves and were unable to.

✓ In 1976, as a result of the Six-Day War, they recaptured the mountain of

temple but they could not recover all of Jerusalem.

And until the first part of the tribulation in Revelation 11:1 we see that it is still not
they have control over Jerusalem. So we are living in the time of the Gentiles.

With the Babylonian empire, with Nebuchadnezzar as king, is when the begins
time of the Gentiles Daniel 2:31-45. Nebuchadnezzar came to invade Jerusalem and took it
and completely destroyed it; destroyed its outer wall, destroyed its wall, its houses, the
palaces, destroyed the temple, the temple courtyard, destroyed everything.

Jerusalem was laid to waste down to its foundations, and that is where Gentile dominion begins over
the city of Jerusalem and the time of the Gentiles begins to which Jesus refers.
All this happened in the year 586 BC.

F) The tribulation, The 70th week

The Church will not be in the tribulation, it was a mystery according to Ephesians 3.
Tribulation, the Kingdom, the second coming of Christ were not mysteries for the prophets because
neither the Church, which was not shown in the prophecy, has anything to do with the
prophetic events.

In Ephesians 2 and 3 it is clear that the Church was a mystery, not known, therefore
we conclude that the Church does not coexist with another time that was indeed known or prophesied. If
the Church was a mystery, the end of the Church must also be a mystery when
let's be mysteriously taken away from the rest of the world

The tribulation in its nature is for Israel, not ecclesiastical.

There is no purpose for the Church revealed in the tribulation.

➢ There is a purpose for the world – To bring them to repentance

➢ There is a purpose for Israel–To bring them to repentance and

➢ The revealed end for the Church is the rapture.

The Holy Spirit will be taken away or removed.

The removal of the Holy Spirit according to 2 Thessalonians 2 will include the
removal from the Church because they are closely linked according to John 14:17,
Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you, with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

The Holy Spirit is Omnipresent and will be until the rapture.

His Omnipresence will remain, but not His presence dwelling within

The Bible mentions that believers will go through tribulation, but

this refers to temporary afflictions

God never gave instructions on 'what to do in tribulation' to the Church.

When does the tribulation begin?

It does not begin with the rapture. It begins when the antichrist signs a pact.

he will judge his enemies.

To bring revival to the world Revelation 7

In Revelation 7 we see the preaching of the 144,000. They are sealed,

In Revelation we see the woes, the bowls, the trumpets, etc.

G) The 1st half of the tribulation

The first 3 and a half years are for adjustment (like chess). The world goes
the Antichrist and the 10 kingdoms will be getting ready for what
comes.

✓ The seals Apocalypse 6. In verse 1 it says that Jesus Christ is in heaven and has a
book that is covered in seals and He starts to open the seals and every time He opens
a seal follows an event.

✓ The 144,000 will begin their ministry. Revelation 7.

✓ There is going to be a worldwide revival, people being saved in every town, tribe,
nation and language.

✓ The judgments and the trumpets are coming Revelation 8 and 9

✓ Then come the two witnesses Revelation 11

There are many theories about who the witnesses will be. The Bible does not state their names like that.
that any name we give will be speculation. In Malachi 4:5-6 'the day of

There is confusion about whether Elijah has already come, referring to the words of Jesus.
Regarding John the Baptist Matthew 17:10-12.

In Malachi, it literally says that Elijah will come before the tribulation,

Malachi 3:1. The Elv. 2 speaks of his second coming.

In Isaiah 40:3 it was prophesied that someone would come before the Messiah.
So John the Baptist came as a forerunner in his first coming. Elijah has not come.

These two witnesses are two men literally, they are not systems. They will be
sent according to Revelation 11. They will prophesy, they will preach the gospel for 3
years and a half, they will wear sackcloth (sackcloth was a rough garment that was

There will be a great earthquake at the end of the first half of the tribulation. 10% of the
The city of Jerusalem will be destroyed and 7,000 people will die according to Revelation 11:13.
At this time, people on earth will glorify God in tribulation. All the
Before this event, people suffer from God and get angry with God. It is not
but until the point that for the first time people glorify God and all this is part of the
second there.

Later, still in the first half, the ecclesiastical Babylon will rise up and
of world political powers. The 10 kingdoms will be established and then they will be
delivered to a single person.

Afterwards, exactly halfway through the tribulation, several things will happen to the
same time.

In Revelation 10, the Apostle John takes the little book and eats it. For this
point, the whole world is governed by 10 kingdoms and there is a man who is the leader, the
antichrist. He is not yet unleashed with all his power, although he has influence and has
authority in most of the world.

of the whole world except for 3 mentioned countries which are Ammon, Moab, and Edom
(they are currently in the area of Jordan and part of Saudi Arabia). That area is not going to
to be under the influence or under the authority of the antichrist. Env.45 the word 'end' is
translated from Hebrew the word 'qetz', which means 'term of life'. The antichrist will
to die. That same word was used in Genesis when Jehovah said: 'I have determined the end of
I have decided that every being will use 'Genesis 6:13.'

Revelation 13:3 makes a reference to this event, let's look at 3 words of this

✓ But his "wound" –The word is repeated in Spanish but not in Greek. Here
the Greek word for 'wound' is 'plege' this means 'contusion or what'

and we bled.

At this point, the Antichrist will be killed in the very middle of the tribulation, or
sea, at three and a half years of the tribulation.

In Revelation 12:7, Satan is cast out of heaven definitively. The devil

Nowadays, one can come to the earth and ascend to the presence of God as it is shown to us.
in the case of Job. Right now the devil is accusing us, the saints
when we sin, but thank God, Jesus Christ is defending us as our
lawyer for the blood that is placed upon us. But in the midst of the tribulation, the
he will be definitively thrown out of heaven and will no longer have access to heaven and the devil is
thrown into this world.

Let's look at 2 Thessalonians 2:6-10. The antichrist is mortally wounded, bleeds and ...
At the same time, Satan is thrown out of heaven. Satan is spirit, he does not have a physical body.
it does not become matter and he enters the body of the antichrist and lifts him up. The word used in
elv.9 'advent' is the Greek word 'energizo'. Everything this man is going to do,
From when will it rise with power and have control over the whole world, will it be due to

this antichrist is going to make the world worship this person Revelation
13.

In Revelation 13:16 it speaks to us about the mark of the beast "666". It has
various purposes and one of them is to identify possession. A person who is
marked with the mark of the beast is now the possession of the devil and is identified
clearly.

At this point the pact, signed by the antichrist and Israel, is violated. This man it
breaks and begins the period of the 'great tribulation' and begins the persecution against
Israel.

In Daniel 9:27, the Hebrew word for 'abomination' is 'image or idol.'

So, based on this, he enters the temple and proclaims himself as god and
he raises an image of himself and the false prophet moves all the people to worship it
antichrist.

At this point, having broken the pact, having entered the temple of the
Jews, Israel is going to understand that it was not who they thought and the great begins
persecution of Jews according to Matthew 24. In Revelation 14 there are events that specify the
1st half of the tribulation with the second half.

There are some announcements about half of what follows next and there are 7.
Divine proclamations in Revelation 14 are given for 3 purposes:

1. Predict the failure of the false trinity program

2. Announce the proximity of the next 7 trials (7 cups)

3. To give words of comfort and confidence that will provide security to the saints who go
to live the second part of the tribulation.

page.30
The battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:13-14)

It happens at the end of the tribulation. There are several stages to prepare for the battle:

✓ The assembly of the battle of the antichrist. Joel 3:9-15.

The antichrist is ruling the whole world and is being worshipped by

everyone, except the saved. He is going to gather all his followers to
attack Jerusalem in the valley of Megiddo.

✓ The destruction of Babylon.

Babylon will be rebuilt. Currently, the city of Babylon, is

in ruins and its location is in the country of Iraq, on the banks of the Euphrates River.

The power of the fourth empire is centered in Europe and when the
Antichrist will have all absolute power, he will move his palace, house,
room and the center of government of Europe (Rome) is going to be moved there,
to move to Babylon. Why will it move? Because it is a very favorable place
for world control and for global trade, it is a central point in
everyone.

Let's see Zechariah 5:5-11. In the prophecy, a woman represents a

nation. Senar refers to Babylon. See also prophecies of destruction
from Babylon in Jeremiah 50:1,9, 16-18.

his enemies; he, in his fury, will launch against the city of Jerusalem
But news from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many.

What will the Jews do at that moment?

There are four groups of Jews during the time of tribulation:

The apostates who made a pact with the antichrist.

The 144,000 Jews who are going to preach the gospel.

Those who will be saved under the preaching of the 144,000.

persecution, flee to the mountains that are around. Let us remember that
Jerusalem is situated amid mountains. In Isaiah 33:13-16 it says that
They must go to a "rocky" place and they will be cities of refuge. Currently the
the closest mountain to Jerusalem is in Jordan, where there are many
mountains and rocks. Daniel 11:44

Micah 2:12 shows us the details of that refuge:

"Bosra" is a city that was located in the land of Edom.

(currently Jordan)

"aprisco" means mountains.

When the Antichrist arrives, the Jews will leave Jerusalem and will
arrive in Jordan, in the mountains, until reaching Petra; to the place that is
prepared for them as a refuge since there they will receive bread and water and sustenance.

Petra is located in Jordan, next to a city that in the

In antiquity, it was called 'Bosra'.

Let us remember that there were three countries where the antichrist will not have
authority or government and Petra is located in that area.

But apart from this, the sun and the moon will affect 13-15.

This cataclysm is not to make the new heaven and new earth. The
Context clarifies that this will happen even in the first half of the tribulation.
