CALCULATION OF THE PSYCHOMOTOR DEVELOPMENT TEST SCORE (TEPSI)

First, they must count the score obtained in each of the subtests (coordination,
language and motor skills) and then the total score of the three subtests combined. For this, only the scores are added.

while 1 is scored for the achievement of the task assigned to the child and 0 if they do not achieve it.

Afterwards, that score should be converted to a scale score or T score. To do this, one must first
calculate the chronological age of the child at the time of the test application. To facilitate this

Once this is done, the raw score (PB) is converted to scale score or T scores. They go to the
table corresponding to the child's age and convert it to T score. (chapter 3, second
part, from page 65 of the manual in PDF). First with the total scale and then with each sub
scale (from page 72), also in the table corresponding to chronological age.

Once you have converted the raw score into a T score, you should see in which category it falls.

CATEGORIES

a. Normality Score T greater than or equal to 40 pts.


b. Risk 30 to 39 points.
c. Delay 20 to 29 Pts.

The data is transferred to the registration protocol sheet and assigned a category.

If the child falls within the category of abnormality, it can be suggested that it be maintained.
