ITEM 1
In Gayaza, there existed a woman by name of Winnie who had a family of about six
children. One of her children, Prossy, a S.2 student at one of the secondary schools in the
area went to the sickbay while at school and asked the school nurse, Rachael to examine her
due to the fact that she had continued to feel weak while at school, something that had made
her loose focus during class time. Upon thorough examination, the school nurse told her that
the body weakness was as a result of her poor nutrition while at home .When at home,
Prossy was always fed on food samples, K and L .Additionally, the school nurse informed
Prossy that, further addition of supplement M to the food samples she usually fed onto while
at home on an industrial scale would be advantageous. Prossy would wish to know what
exactly could be the nutrients missing in the meals while at home.
TASK:
As a Biology student, carry out a scientific investigation on the food samples K and L.
Hence determine the large scale advantage of addition of supplement M to the food samples,
K, L and hence advise Prossy accordingly.

could be .After thorough examination, the medical doctors realized that specimens, N1, N2,
and N3 which are bones of his back borne were affected. Mr. Lubwama is still not contented
with the information he received from the medical doctors. He has approached you to help
him acquire more knowledge about the three specimens.
TASK:
