AI MODELLING OF ENERGY PYRAMID FOR

OPTIMAL POWER MANAGEMENT


The Energy Pyramid is designed to understand the process of using energy efficiently. It is
called as Energy Analysis.It balances the power generation and power consumption with the
reduction of carbon printout. This analysis often takes the form of an energy audit. Energy
audits enable the current energy consumption on residential or commercial and recommend
ways to save energy through more efficient ways and use of equipment through current
energy generation with the integration new renewable energy sources for reducing
greenhouse gases .Thus the energy pyramid highlights that energy is lost at every stage from
generation to consumption and efficiency improvements at any level have a cascading effect
on reducing overall energy demand and renewable energy sources and smart grid
technologies are helping to reduce carbon emission and enhance system sustainability.
Therefore the optimal way of implementing energy conservation in homes or industries path
towards sustainability is a continuous process to keep on checking power consumption and
explore advantage of reducing air pollution to a great extent that could have lot of positive
impacts in our health. When you wish to reduce energy consumption, you need to carefully
choose the sources with no carbon footprint and this be used to reduce your electricity cost.

Research challenges on Building Energy Management System found in recent


literatures on different categories like monitoring, system analysis and decision-making
tasks. There are some specific challenges are to develop a real-time semantic feature
engineering process for predictive models, optimal sensor location and decentralized smart
monitoring system for smart buildings in Energy management system.
