~ PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU START!~
Please read this page before you start your
Bennie the Mini Dragon Snuggler! You will find
                helpful and important information here!
I use the yarn under/yarn over crocheting method when making all
my snugglers! These snugs will work with any crochet method but
please remember alternative methods and tensions can result in
different sized snugglers!
You will want to decide on what tail mod you want before you start!
The spike tail/body is worked all in one piece. The flare and fin tail
mods are worked after the body but crocheted directly into the tail!
SPIKE TAIL FIN TAIL FLARE TAIL
You will also want to determine which head adornment you want-
ears or frills. Pick one and make sure you make those before starting
the head!
The ears and frills are crocheted to the head while working up the
head- this part is sort of an intermediate skill only because there are
color changes right next to the ears (for the horns). If you find it easier,
you can sew the ears and frills on after completing the head!
To limit confusion while working the frills and wings, I state which color
I start with and which color I color change to- use which ever colors
you already have for your Bennie though!
When performing the dec in the frills and wings, I HIGHLY recommend
doing regular dec, NOT invisible. Use invisible dec for the rest of the
pattern though.

                                BENNIE
                               ASSEMBLY:
Step 1:
Sew the body to the bottom side of the head, between Rnds 6-8 of the head and
in line with the ears/frills. I thread my needle through both halves of the body and
into the head and repeat until the head is secured to the body. Hide tails.
Step 2:
Sew two of the feet to either side of the body, between Rnds 26-28 for the SPIKE
tail body, and between Rnds 19-21 on the FIN and FLARE bodies. I like to sew mine
on using a whip st, but sew however you’d like! I face my toes out- away from the
body, but face yours however you prefer! Hide tails.

Step 3:
                              ASSEMBLY:
Sew two of the feet to either side of the body, between Rnds 22-23 for the SPIKE
tail body, and between Rnds 15-16 on the FIN and FLARE bodies. I like to sew mine
on using a whip st, but sew however you’d like! I face my bottom feet with the
toes inward- towards the body, but face yours however you prefer! Hide tails.
Step 4:
Sew the wings on the back side of the body, behind the front legs and 1-3 st apart
depending on how far you want your wings to stick out on either side of the body.
**Tip- if you used frills, lower the wings a Rnd or two so that the wings poke out
behind the frills. Hide tails.
