Smart Car Driving

This project report summarizes a smart car security system that uses face recognition, GPS tracking, and GSM communication. The system can detect faces in the car when it is supposed to be empty and send alerts. It also uses GPS to track the car's location and a GSM module to send the location to the owner via SMS if the car is lost or stolen. The system aims to provide low-cost vehicle security and tracking using embedded hardware and software.

ABSTRACT:
In modern world, many new techniques such as biometric recognition technique, image
processing technique, communication technique and so on, have been integrated into car security
systems. Traditional car security systems rely on many sensors and cost a lot. When one car is
really lost, no more feedback could be valid to help people to find it back.

In proposed system we introduced a low-cost extendable framework for embedded smart

car security system is proposed, which consists of a face detection subsystem, a GPS (Global
Positioning System) module, a GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) module and a
control platform. The face detection subsystem based on optimized PC algorithm and can detect
faces in cars during the period in which nobody should be in the car, and make an alarm loudly
or soundlessly. The other modules transmit necessary information to the owner and the control
room and help to keep eyes on cars all the time, even when the car is lost. The location of the
vehicle is spotted perfectly by GPS modem. The GPS modem sense particular latitude and
longitude and gives it to GSM module which sends the information to the user through SMS
Technology.
