CTT AMPLIDYNE ACCELERATOR Description
The CTT Amplidyne Accelerator is used with the CTT Heavy Hitter Jars to intensify the impact at the jar hammer and anvil. The Amplidyne Accelerator develops reactive energy from the overpull or setdown on the jar. The energy is then transferred into a fluid spring and valve system that accelerates the velocity enhancing by four times the over pull or setdown weight as impact force at the hammer and anvil. The Amplidyne Accelerator is compact in length to maintain a short fishing or drilling string on coiled tubing, yet designed to maximize the velocity and impact to the hammer and anvil at the jar release. The Amplidyne Accelerator has a large I.D. to permit passage of drop balls which permits placement of the tool at any position in the work string.

CTT HEVI HITTER JAR Description
The CTT Hevi Hitter Jar presents the most advanced technology available in metering of hydraulic fluids. The Hevi Hitter Jar provides the optimum time delay and maximized velocity at detent release providing an impact force at the fish previously unavailable in coil tubing operations. By utilizing the Hevi Hitter Jar the CT operator has the ability to place the tool at the optimum position in the string. Operational Advantages of the Hevi Hitter Jar: Fully hydraulic operation permits a wide range of overpull or setdown weight. Minimal mechanical drag at detent release permits the maximum acceleration of the mass to the hammer and anvil. (Utilizing the CTT Amplidyne Accelerator with the Hevi Hitter Jar further enhances the acceleration of the tool). Energy provided by the Hevi Hitter Jar requires fewer cycles to free the string thus reducing fatigue at the gooseneck.

CTT HEAVY HITTER Operating Instructions
STEP 1 Establish the working weight of the coiled tubing and jar loads desired (always considering the Jars operating specifications). Determine drag of CT in the hole which is the difference of free weight shown on the weight indicator. The difference is drag of the CT in the hole. The working weight down will be the total pipe weight less drag. The working weight up will be the CT weight plus the drag weight. Example Jar Up: The CT calculates to weigh 13,000 lbs. in place and the up travel reads 15,000 lbs. or 2,000 lbs difference (drag). If the CT string is pulled to 25,000 lbs. the jar up trip load at is 10,000 lbs. up (25,000 15000). Example Jar Down: If the CT down travel indicator reads 11,000 lbs. the drag would be 2,000 lbs. (CT calculates to weigh 13,000 lbs in place as stated above). If the CT string is slacked off to 8,000 lbs before the jar fires the CT string load at the jar would be 3,000 lbs. down (11,000 lbs 8,000 lbs). STEP 2 Determine the direction of jarring to be desired. The CTT Heavy Hitter is a dual acting jar that will jar in either the up or down mode as selected by the operator. To Jar Up: Slack off of string weight approximately 10% above the drag weight to cock the jars for up jarring - this will take approximately 60 seconds. Pull within the jars published rate and wait. The Up Jar will fire in less than 60 seconds as dictated by the amount of pull on the CT string. Repeat the cycle as required. To Jar Down: Allow the Up Jar to fully open (determined by free travel on weight indicator). Select a down load desired within the range of jar specifications. Slack off of the CT string as determined in step 1 and wait for the Jar to hit down.
WARNING
USE CAUTION WHEN JARRING DOWN AS WEIGHT (LOADS) MUST BE CAREFULLY SLELECTED TO PREVENT BUCKLING OF CT UPON IMPACT ALWAYS UTILIZE A CTT AMPLIDYNE ACCELERATOR WHEN DOWN JARRING IS ANTICIPATED TO CONCENTRATE THE DOWNWARD ENERGY BELOW THE COILED TUBING

CTT JET HAMMER Description
The CTT Jet Hammer is a powerful downhole rotating hammer designed for use in coiled tubing workover service. The high energy impact frequency and torque output of the Jet Hammer provides efficient removal of paraffin, scale, sludge, and tar as well as an effective tool for drilling barium, sand, and cement bridge plugs. When a blind box is used in place of the bit or mill the Jet Hammer can be utilized to drive debris downhole. Operation of the Jet Hammer begins when the bit comes into contact with a resistance that forces the mandrel closed to the tool housing. Internal pressure builds until the tools internal valve opens thrusting the bit outwardly with high velocity acceleration and rotational torque into the medium being drilled. Water or light drilling fluid may be used as well as nitrogen when co-mingled with soap or foam to operate the tool.
Note: Unless otherwise indicated, all the strength figures given in this manual are the result of calculations based on the yield strength of the material used in the manufacture of this product. These strength calculations are considered accurate within plus or minus 20% and are to be used only as a guide. They do not constitute a guarantee, actual or implied. CTT JET HAMMER Operating Instructions
Tool String Recommendation Since the Jet Hammer rotates on each mandrel stroke cycle, all tools run in the BHA should have no rotational slack or backlash as movement would reduce or eliminate bit rotation. The use of a reliable coil connector or motorhead assembly that can withstand high pressure and both rotary and longitudinal vibrational forces is important. Making up the Jet Hammer into the String To install or change the bit insert the pin provided with the tool through the tool drive sub and mandrel. (It is important to use the pin provided)NEVER WRENCH ON THE BARREL as this may pinch the internal hammer and prevent proper operation of the tool. All Jet Hammer connections are shipped tightened so no additional torque is needed. To make up string connections above the tool wrench on the top sub and mating tool. Be sure to remove the lock pin from the tool drive sub. Failure to remove the pin will prevent the tool from working. Surface Testing the Jet Hammer Prior to running the Jet Hammer into the hole a surface test can be conducted to establish operational characteristics of the tool. This can be done by lifting the tool and pumping fluid through the string, making sure the volume being pumped is sufficient to conduct the test. While pumping, the bit and mandrel will telescope out. Do not attempt to test the tool by setting the injector head on the tool as this will restrict the tools ability to start up an d damage may occur. With the test complete you are ready to run in the hole. Maximum Operating Limits of the Jet Hammer The Jet Hammers operational limits are as follows: Maximum Operating Pressure = 1,000 PSI across the tool Maximum Applied Down Force = 750 LBS Pressure Rated All Tool Sizes = 5,000 PSI All Tools dressed for 450 F Temperature

CTT JET MOTOR Description
The CTT Jet Motor is a powerful downhole rotating motor designed for use in coiled tubing drilling and workover service. The rotational torque output in foot pounds is equal to or greater than many conventional positive displacement motors on the market today. The advantage of The CTT Jet Motor is the elimination of elastomers in the tool and compact length. The tool can be run with fluid, nitrogen, acids or co-mingled fluids without damaging the tool. The Jet Motor can be utilized to drill formation, cement plugs or clean-out work. The external rotational nozzle system can clean the tubing completely to the wall and the Jet Motor drill bit removes obstructions all in one trip. The Jet Motor can be used in hot hole situations without damage to the tool as there are no rubber products in the Jet Motor to swell and deteriorate. Redress cost of the Jet Motor is very minimal compared to a conventional PDM as there are no rotors or stators to replace or repair in the tool.
