Dear Sir / Madam,
This has reference to your application for the post of Probationary Officer
in Junior Management Grade Scale - I in the Bank. In this connection,
please be informed that Appointment Orders
have already been despatched to the communication address furnished by you.
The details of the documents/certificates to be produced by you at the time
of joining have been stipulated in the Appointment Orders.
In terms of the said offer of appointment you are hereby requested to report
for training on 16.07.2012 at 9.00 a.m. at -
CANARA BANK STAFF TRAINING COLLEGE

The training will be conducted for a period of TWO WEEKS and will conclude
on 28.07.2012 at 2.00 p.m. Thereafter, you will be posted to a Branch/Office
anywhere in India, which will be informed to you during the course of
training.
WE HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR STAY DURING THE ABOVE TRAINING PERIOD,
THE DETAILS OF WHICH WILL BE INFORMED TO YOU SHORTLY. PLEASE NOTE TO REPORT
AT THE VENUE (WHERE YOUR STAY ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE) ON 15.07.2012 AT 12.00
NOON ONWARDS FOR SCRUTINY OF DOCUMENTS AS STIPULATED IN APPOINTMENT ORDERS.
Please note to produce one ORIGINAL & ONE COPY each of the following
Certificates at the time of reporting for the training programme:
i. Medical Certificate of physical fitness in Form
F.1461 from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Civil
Surgeon along with a copy of the Declaration Form F.1462.
ii. SSLC Certificate certifying the Date of Birth ;
iii. List of Marks (from SSLC onwards) ;
iv. Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or
Certificate from the College Principal certifying that he / she has passed
the Degree Examination ;
v. Character & Conduct Certificates from three respectable
persons not related to you of which, one must be from the Principal / Head
of the Department of the College / University last attended and the
remaining two from Gazetted Officers or Bank Officers.
vi. Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in
the proforma prescribed by the Government of India with the correct name of
the Sub Caste (in case of belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe /
Other Backward Classes category), if applicable
vii. Medical Certificate from Competent Authority in case of
Persons With Disabilities in the format prescribed by Govt. of India, if
applicable.
viii. Employment Exchange Registration Card or a declaration at
the time of joining the Bank, stating that you have not registered your name
with any Employment Exchange in the country.
ix. Satisfactory certificates of acceptance of resignation,
unconditional relief and good conduct from your previous employer/s and also
from the present employer, if applicable.
x. Your bio-data in the "Attestation Form" (format sent
attached) in triplicate duly mentioning the full postal address of the
Office of the Superintendent of Police under whose jurisdiction your
residence comes to enable us to call for the required report from the Police
Authorities.
xi. As per the terms and conditions of the offer of
appointment issued to you, you are required to place a security deposit of
Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) for a period of two years in
the form of Kamadhenu Deposit on the terms and conditions stipulated in the
offer of appointment. The said security deposit has to be placed at the time
of your joining the Bank only by way of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of
Canara Bank, payable at BANGALORE.
xii. Please note that in case you do not report on 16.07.2012 as
instructed in the offer of appointment at the venue mentioned therein it
will be presumed that you are not interested in joining the bank and the
bank will take suitable steps as deemed fit in this regard.
