The Present Perfect Simple is formed from verb HAVE/HAS +
PAST PARTICIPLE
Past Participle in regular verbs is: to finish- finished
Past Participle in irregular verbs is : to write- written

Example: I have finished my homework.

We use Present Perfect Simple in different situations:


1. When we usually say new information.

cut my finger.
There has been an
accident
Police have arrested the
criminals.

2. When the action from the past has a result NOW. (it is
connected with NOW)
a. Wheres your key? I dont know. I have lost it. (I dont
have it NOW)
b. He told me his name, but I have forgotten it. (I dont
remember it NOW)
c. I cant find my bag. Have you seen it? (Do you know
where it is NOW?)
Interrogative Sentences: AUX HAVE + SUBJECT+ VERB+
OBJECT ???

3. We can use Present Perfect Simple with JUST, ALREADY,
YET

Just= a short time ago

Present Perfect Continuous

Present Perfect Continuous is used to express an activity
that has recently stopped or just stopped. There is also a
connection with NOW.
