Trans Basic Operation:
The THM 350 is a RWD 3 speed unit.
Later models were equipped with TCC
and designated as THM 350C.
Shift delay, line pressure control, and
shift feel are all controlled by the vacuum
modulator. Kickdowns are controlled by
the detent cable.
The upshift signal is supplied from an
output shaft driven governor.
TCC equipped models use an electrically
operated solenoid, mounted on the valve
body to activate TCC.
