1. UVOD
1. INTRODUCTION
ELKA je osnovana 1927. godine i danas je u Republici
Hrvatskoj jedini proizvo|a~ energetskih distribucijskih kabela
napona 1 kV do 36 kV. Elka je i proizvo|a~ XLPE i
elastomernih izolacijskih smjesa za izolacije niskonaponskih i
srednjenaponskih energetskih kabela s vi{e od 20 godina
iskustva na razli~itim proizvodima i komercijalnom plasmanu.
Srednjenaponski kabeli s XLPE izolacijom proizvode se
najsuvremenijom tehnologijom izoliranja u trostrukom
brizganju istovremenim nano{enjem poluvodljivih slojeva na
izolaciju (triplex extrusion).
Umre`enje izolacije je suhim postupkom (dry cured
vulcanisation) u neutralnom plinu du{iku. Ovim postupcima
dobiva se kvalitetan i ~vrst spoj izme|u izolacije i vodljivih
slojeva bez mogu}nosti odvajanja pri ciklusima grijanja i
hla|enja kabela u radu. Umre`enjem u du{iku pove}ana je
otpornost izolacije na nastajanje i {irenje "treeinga" a time i
pojava parcijalnog izbijanja, {to zna~ajno podi`e stupanj
dielektri~ke ~vrsto}e izolacije i produ`ava `ivotni vijek kabela.
Elka posjeduje vlastiti razvojni centar i ispitne laboratorije za
materijale i kabele sa suvremenom opremom i visoko stru~nim
osobljem {to garantira visoku kvalitetu finalnih proizvoda,
materijala i kabela.
Sustav osiguranja kvalitete (Quality Management System)
potvr|en je Certifikatom ISO 9001 izdanim 1997. godine, a
Sustav upravljanja okoliem certifikatom ISO 14001 izdanim
2002. godine od tvrtke SGS International Certification Services
AG, [vicarska.
ELKA was founded in 1927 and is currently the only producer
of distribution power cables of 1 kV to 36 kV voltage in the
Republic of Croatia. ELKA produces also XLPE and elastomere insulation compounds for insulation of low voltage and
medium voltage power cables, with more than 20 years of
experience in proper products and commercial sale.
Medium voltage cables with XLPE insulation are manufactured with most recent technology of insulation in triple extrusion under simultaneous application of semi-conductive layers
over insulation (triplex extrusion).
Cross-linking of insulation is done by dry cured vulcanisation
procedure in a neutral nitrogen gas. By those procedures we
obtain a high quality and tight connection between insulation
and conductive layers without the possibility of their separation
during the heating and cooling cycles of cables in operation.
Cross-linking in nitrogen increases the resistance of insulation
towards appearance and spreading of "treeing" and thereby
also of partial discharge, increasing thus considerably the grade
of dielectric strength of insulation and prolonging the life-time
of cables.
ELKA has got a proper development centre and test laboratories for materials and cables with up to date equipment and
high qualified staff, what guarantees a high quality of final
products, materials and cables.
The Quality Management (Insurance) System is confirmed by
ISO 9001 Certificate, issued in 1997, and Environmental
Management by ISO 14001 Certificate, issued in 2002 by the
firm SGS International Certification Services AG, Switzerland.

Elektri~na struja protjecanjem kroz vodi~e kabela razvija
toplinu {to uzrokuje isu{enje okolnog zemlji{ta te dovodi do
mogu}eg toplinskog kolapsa kabela. S tog razloga potrebno je
ograni~iti veli~inu struje protjecanu kabelom ovisno o uvjetima
pogona u kojem kabel radi. Dopu{teno strujno optere}enje
kabela izra~unato je prema IEC 287 pri ~emu je uva`eno
slijede}e:
temperatura zemlje 200C
temperatura zraka 300C
temperatura vodi~a 900C
The temperature developed by electric current streaming
through cable conductors, causing exsiccation of surrounding
ground, may be the reason of a possible thermal collapse of
cables. Because of that, it is necessary to limit the amount of
current streaming through the cable, in dependence on the
operating plant conditions of cable. Permitted current ratings
of cables is calculated acc. to IEC 287, considering the
following data:

6.2. CORRECTION FACTORS
Strujno optere}enje kabela u normalnom radu kroz du`e
vremensko razdoblje dano je u tablicama 6.1.1.-6.1.3.. Radi li
kabel u uvjetima koji se razlikuju od datih u 6.1. nazivno strujno
optere}enje kabela se mno`i korekcionim faktorima prema
tablicama 6.2.1. - 6.2.6.
Current ratings of cables in normal operation over a longer
time period is stated in Tables 6.1.1 - 6.1.3. If operating
conditions of a cable differ from those stated in Table 6.1, the
nominal current ratings of cables is multiplied by correction
factors acc. to Tables 6.2.1. - 6.2.6.

6.3. DOPUSTIVE STRUJE KRATKOG SPOJA
6.3. PERMITTED SHORT CIRCUIT CURRENTS
Otpornost izolacije na visoki toplinski u~inak struje kratkog
spoja odre|ena je grani~nom temperaturom vodi~a koja za
XLPE izolaciju iznosi 2500C.
Dopu{tena struja kratkog spoja faznog vodi~a kabela dodatno
je uvjetovana temperaturom vodi~a na po~etku kratkog spoja, u
pravilu 900C, i trajanjem kratkog spoja najvi{e 5 sekundi.
Dopu{tena struja kratkog spoja elektri~ne za{tite kabela
uvjetovana je temperaturom elektri~ne za{tite na po~etku
kratkog spoja, pretpostavljeno 700C, i najvi{om dozvoljenom
temperaturom bakrenih `ica ili vrpci elektri~ne za{tite,
pretpostavljeno 3500C, uz trajanje kratkog spoja najvi{e 5
sekundi.
Insulation resistance to high thermal impact of short circuit
current is determined by a limit conductor temperature, which
amount to 250C for XLPE insulation.
Permitted short circuit current of cable phase conductor is
additionally conditioned by conductor temperature at the short
circuit beginning, regularly 90C and by short circuit duration,
but not more than 5 seconds.
Permitted short circuit current of cable electric protection is
conditioned by electric protection temperature at the short
circuit beginning, of anticipated value 70C, and the highest
permitted temperature of copper wires or tapes, electric
protection, anticipated 350C, and short circuit duration of
max. 5 seconds.

9.1. SIZES OF PACKING DRUMS
Kabeli se namataju na drvene ili metalne bubnjeve u
standardnim duljinama 1000 m ili prema zahtjevu. Nazivni broj
bubnja ujedno je i promjer stranice iskazan u dm.
Osnovni podaci bubnjeva su u skladu s njema~kom normom
DIN 46 391.
Cables are wound at wooden or metal drums in standard
lengths of 1000 m or upon request. Nominal drum number is
at the same time the side diameter expressed in dm.
Basic drum data are in accordance with German standard
DIN 46391.

10.1. OP]ENITO O POLAGANJU
10.1. GENERALLY ON LAYING
Polaganje kabela mora biti pa`ljivo da ne do|e do o{te}enja
kabela ni za vrijeme polaganja niti kasnije u pogonskom radu. S
tog razloga preporu~uje se pridr`avati slijede}eg:
Polagati kod temperature koja ne}e uzrokovati o{te}enje
kabela ni ugroziti sigurnost ljudi i opreme
Razvla~enje kabela izvoditi ure|ajem za razvla~enje s
kontrolom vu~ne sile
Kabel kod polaganja u zemlju polagati uvijek na pripremljenu
posteljicu; ne smije se vu}i po zemlji, pogotovo ne po kamenitom tlu
Materijali za posteljicu ne smiju imati agresivni utjecaj na pla{t
kabela
Kabel ne savijati ispod najmanjeg dozvoljenog polumjera
savijanja
Kabelski rov ne zatrpavati grubim kamenjem
Iznad kabela postaviti {titnike i upozoravaju}u vrpcu
Krajeve kabela obavezno zatvoriti vodonepropusnim kapama
Cables are to be laid carefully, to avoid cable damage either
during laying or later in operating conditions. Because of that,
one should respect the following:
Cables are to be laid at the temperature which won't cause
cable damage nor endanger the safety of people or equipment
Cable stretching should be performed by a stretching device
equipped by tensile strength control
When laid into the ground, the cable is always to be laid at
prepared bedding; it must not be pulled over the ground,
specially not over stony terrain
Bedding material shouldn't act aggressively upon cable sheath
Permitted bending radius to be respected.
Cable trench must not be covered up with rough stones
Protections and warning tapes should be put over the cables
Cable ends should be obligatorily closed by watertight caps.
10.2. TEMPERATURA POLAGANJA
10.2. LAYING TEMPERATURE
Kabeli s PVC pla{tom mogu se polagati na temperaturi okoline
do -50C, dok se kabeli s PE pla{tom mogu polagati i kod temperatura do -200C.
Za polaganje kod temperatura ni`ih od navedenih potrebno je
provesti zagrijavanje kabela na temperaturu iznad +50C, jednom od za to poznatih metoda i odr`avati tu temperaturu najmanje 24 sata prije polaganja.
PVC sheathed cables could be laid at ambient temperature up
to -5C, whereupon the PE sheathed cables could be laid even
at -20C temperature.
When laying at lower temperatures than those stated, cables
should be warmed up to the temperature of over +5C
applying one of the adequate known methods and that
temperature is to be maintained for at least 24 hours before
laying.

It is recommended to pull the cables by using a cable stocking.
The part of the cable covered by the cable stocking should be
obligatorily cut off after completed traction.

primjena predoblikovanih spojnica i kabelskih zavr{etaka
omatanje vrpcama posebno izra|enim za ove namjene
Potrebno je po{tivati upute proizvo|a~a kod izvedbe spojnica i
kabelskih zavr{etaka.
Elka, na zahtjev, uz isporuku kabela osigurava i:

The best known ways of connecting and terminating of medium voltage cables with XLPE insulation are:
