Design, Development of EPB system.
EPB layout study (Considering length, bending radius, tolerance, twisting tolerance, clearance in
all positions bound, rebound and normal checks)
EPB Mounting Position study for above layout.
Communicating and Getting approval from surrounding parts engineer for feasibility of studied
mounting position and holes (suspension, Body, link, beam or knuckle)
Tool accessibility and feasibility check for mounting bracket while mounting and service.
After getting approval from surrounding Engineer for Mounting position feasibility , detail
Mounting hole study (Tolerance stack up) and detail Mounting bracket shape study (Considering
all Position bound, rebound and normal and CAE results)
Technical file creation for supplier and BOM creation, Once Layout freeze.
Releasing above Data in PLM .
Sharing Data with Supplier and getting his feedback and according to that updating that change
in CAD data.
Cross checking of physical part with Digital part (CAD part), Once part manufactured from
supplier
Cross checking of assembled part in vehicle with Digital part assembly (Clearance with
surrounding parts) once manufactured part assembled in PT lot.
Supporting :
Design, development and analysis of Splash guard for front disc brake using CAD and CAE
software.
Clearance study of splash guard with respect to surrounding parts in all positions.
Development of manufacturing drawing of splash guard.
Responsible for developing new packaging for the products Introduced.
Benching marking of brake components.
