incorporate quality images and trim
for a full-bleed finished product.
Process
I first used Adobe Illustrator to design the Explore logo and placed it
in Adobe InDesign where I created
my brochure. I divided two pages

Black and white flier advertising a
Graduate Leadership Conference.
Objectives
Create a professional and appealing
flier with images provided.
Process
I began with drawing four sketches
of what the flier could look like. I
picked one and designed it in Adobe InDesign. I made three different
designs until I had created one I
was satisfied with. I used black bold
titles to draw the audiences attention to them. I placed two of the
same gradient bars on the top and
bottom of the flier for repetition
and to frame the page. I also enlarged key information of the text.

Objectives
Process
Create an ad for a made up event
using only Microsoft Word and a
scanner.
I scanned a picture into the computer, then used Word to design my
ad. I used orange on the side bar
to create contrast with the majority
of blue in the picture. I emphasized
the title of the event with a different and larger font than the rest of
the text below it. I outlined the title
with blue to contrast with the orange background.
