1) The student, Mahra al Qassimi, taught a math lesson on counting up to 5 to a kindergarten class at Al Darari Kindergarten. 2) For this lesson, Mahra prepared a simpler and more fun activity after challenges in the previous lesson. 3) The students were engaged in the activity and understood, though the lower level students took longer. Mahra kept the lesson student-centered and spoke only in English, reminding students to respond in English as well.

Thankfully, this time the lesson flowed smoothly with the students. After our last
lesson and the challenges both the students and I faced, I prepared a simpler and
more fun activity for them to do. The students came gathering, waiting for their
turn. Even the Low and Medium levelled students understood even though they
took a while, I explained it to them and kept it student-centered as much as I could.
Even though I keep speaking to the students in English and Arabic, I tried my best
to just talk to them in English this time and if they spoke to me in Arabic, I would
remind them and they would instantly change it to English. I hope next week I
keep speaking in English, even if they couldnt understand, I would just stick to it.
