Madam,
My research group is developing a thesis on The Impact of Technology on the Learning
Capacity and Potential of the Tenth Grade Learners of San Roque College de Cebu-Main
Campus which will serve as an output and requirement for the subject Research on Daily
Life I. For this output to be created, data need to be gathered from the respondents we have
chosen, the tenth grade learners of the school. The data collection involves surveys to all
students of the level and interviews with selected students.
I, the research head, would like to ask permission on behalf of my research group to conduct
this data collection today, October 12, 2016. This will benefit both parties; the research
group will get the required and necessary data and the respondents will possibly learn new
ideas and concepts on educational technology stemming from the data collection and the
output. The students identities and opinions will not be disclosed and will be kept
confidential. A schedule of such data collection will be collaborated with the teachers of the
respondents as to not interrupt their lessons and activities.
Attached herewith is a sample of the survey questionnaire to be used. We seek your
approval of the contents in regards to appropriation and relevance.
We are hoping for your positive consideration and approval on this matter.
