A young prince who lived in a shining castle and had everything he desired was spoiled and selfish. One winter night, an old beggar woman came seeking shelter and offered him a single rose in exchange. Repulsed by her appearance, the prince turned her away. She revealed herself to be an enchantress and transformed him into a hideous beast. He was placed under a spell and had until his 21st year to learn to love another and earn their love in return, or be doomed to remain a beast forever.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young _________ lived in a shining castle. Although he had

everything his ________ desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish, and _________. But then, one

winter's night, an old beggar _________ came to the castle and offered him a single ________ in

return for shelter from the bitter __________. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince

sneered at the __________ and turned the old woman away, but she warned him not to be deceived

by appearances, for __________ is found within.

And when he dismissed her __________, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful

enchantress. The prince tried to ________, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no

Ashamed of his monstrous form, the beast concealed himself inside his castle, with a ______ mirror
