Treatment of Data.
Analysis was facilitated using the following:
The Simple Percentage was utilized to measure the respondents proportion with
respect to their socio-demographic profile as to age, civil status, educational attainment,
number of children, and working status.
The Weighted Mean was used to determine the level of awareness and compliance
of the respondents. It can be considered a good estimate for predicting subsequent data
points.
The Chi-Square test was utilized to determine the relationship between the
respondents profile and level of awareness, between the respondents profile and level of
compliance, and between the respondents level of awareness and level of compliance.
This gives an estimate on the agreement between a set of observed data and a random
set of data that you expected the measurements to fit.
The Pearson R was utilized to determine the relationship of the respondents
awareness and compliance.
The Thematic Content Analysis was used to search through data to identify any
recurrent patterns.
