Industrial training provides handy experience to the undergraduates, about the methods of overcoming
practical problems, This industrial training is an essential programme for the completion of our degree,
Bachelor of Science of Engineering that will be given by University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka under
coordination of Industrial Training & Career Guidance Unit (ITCGU), University of Peradeniya, Sri
Lanka accompanying with National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA).
First of all I have to express my sincere thanks to staff members of the Industrial Training and Career
Guidance Unit (ITCGU) and the Department of Civil Engineering of Faculty of Engineering, University of
Peradeniya for offering me this great opportunity to undergo industrial training. Next National Apprentice
and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) who took a great endeavor to organize this training programme
for appointing me as an apprentice in the State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka.
