PPM Check List for Chiller

1 Isolate the incoming source and apply LOTO.

2 Make sure that supply is not available at the i/p terminal of the equipment

3 Check the Local isolator switch and tighten all the cable connections

4 Clean the main Control panel and tight all the electrical connections.

5 Check the operation of Crank case Heater

6 Check for any cable colour change at panel in the chiller.

Clean "Power & Control panels / Compressor / Flow switch / Actuator "

thoroughly with cotton cloth.

8 Check all the connections of BMS

9 Ensure functioning of pressure gauges and temperature gauges.

Review and log the "Evaporator Approach Temperature". It should be less than 7

deg F.

Check and Log the water pressure drop across the Evaporator. It should not be

more than 0.5 kg/sqcm (difference between Inlet & Outlet water pressure).

12 Clean "Condensor fins / Insulated pipelines/ Supporting frames" with water jet.

Check the Automatic Actuator valve properly functioning,and ensure the full

opening of the Actuator.Check the Acutator in Manual mode also.

Check all condensor fans (24 Nos ) are functioning at full load.Check the O/L relay

setting setted as 3.5 A

15 Removed the LOTO and switch on and take the necessary readings

16 House keeping after PM completed
