No Trace in My Space!

1)

STEP 1 - Students are given “No Trace in My Space!” token at the start of each class activity when equipment is
handed out.

STEP 2 - At the end of the assigned class activity, the students pick up the assigned equipment and return it to the
assigned location.

STEP 3 - The students turn in their “No Trace in My Space!” token to the teacher.

STEP 4 - At the end of the class, the teacher will allow 30 seconds for students to raise their empty hands high to show that
they have zero “No Trace in My Space!” tokens.

STEP 5 - The teacher walks to each student with their empty hands up and gives them a footstep up the mountain award.

STEP 6 - The student will write their name on the footstep award and place it on the class board at the end of the
adapted physical education class time. When they earn 10 footsteps up the mountain, they will get to the “top of the
mountain” and get to build a mountain activity out of foam blocks.
