Write a prayer of thanks
Dear parents,
During our religious education lessons students have been partaking in the topic of feelings and emo-
tions. It is important for students to understand the relationship between God and our feelings. The
student’s task is to write a prayer, thanking God for giving us feelings. It is important for the children
to include why they are thankful, what they are thankful for and the relationship it has with God.
Some suggestions to begin with:
- I thank you God for …
- I am grateful for..
My prayer of thanks:
