5TH BLOOD LETTING ACTIVITY
NARRATIVE REPORT
SY 2017 – 2018
I. INTRODUCTION
As a school, Jasaan National High School gives life to the Department of Education’s vision
of enabling Filipinos to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the nation.
This is done through organizing activities that awakens the social responsibility of not only the
learners but also to all the school stakeholders who engage and share the same responsibility in
developing life-long learners.
One of the activities that the school has conducted through the initiation of the Supreme
Student Government for four years now is the Blood Letting Activity. This is done in support for
Red Cross’ dire need of more blood donations to cater for the hundreds of blood bags that are
needed in Northern Mindanao everyday.
II. SUMMARY
“Dugo Mo, Buhay Ko” was the tagline for this year’s Blood Letting Activity. This has been
the 5 year of the school’s Blood Letting in cooperation with the Red Cross Northern Mindanao.

This happened last February 23, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Jasaan National High
School Campus.
It is a non-profit activity that promotes social awareness among our students, teachers,
parents, alumni and other stakeholders. Its sole purpose is to help others who are in need of
blood.
Volunteers of the Blood Letting were coming from the JNHS faculty, parents, alumni, LGU,
Barangay Health Workers, Po Active, Bureau of Fire Protection and the Jasaan Municipal Police
Station, and PICMW, Inc. These volunteers were able to successfully donate a total of 13 bags of
blood from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.
III. CLOSING
This life-giving activity proved to have been well-supported by the different stakeholders of
Jasaan National High School. Hence, this will continue in the next years with a more strategic
campaign to increase volunteers.
