BLOOD DONATION: A major life saving concern to a Society by Soj

Heroes are the one who sacrifice themselves to save people’s life through their
supernatural powers or even their profound skills. Nowadays, whether blood is not
scarce or not, the involvement of volunteer labor has always been the counterpart of
Blood Donating Activity, that is why Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students—
Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines chapter in partnership of Philippine Red Cross–
Cagayan Chapter once more administered “Minis Blood Olympics”, a bloodletting activity
inside the school Campus last October 14. In line with this significant bustle of the
organization, is the annual National Medical Technology Week of the College of Medical
Technology.

There are more than 120 secured and safe blood products were successfully obtain
from the donors who came from the different parts of Cagayan, Isabela and Nueva
Vizcaya provinces. Also, some of the MCNP– ISAP Faculty donated their blood not only
to be a part of the activity but for their legacy in continuous health activity.

Helping other is the main goal of every gathering like this. Hence, the whole activity
maintained the efficiency of collecting and obtaining blood mechanisms to be transfused
to every human who really needs it. Furthermore, the whole gathering was a life–
changing. Their utmost joy, smiles and honor has been a mark of every donor.
