Overview of the lesson: Purpose of the day’s lesson was reviewed with the students. Inverse
relationship was defined during the lesson’s introduction. Division was modeled using the
students as a demonstration.
Classroom is conducive to learning. The students are valued and respected by the teacher. They
are praised. The students appear to be safe physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
The activities were in alignment with the lesson’s objective and there was a level of challenge.
Lesson was well facilitated. The teacher was involved throughout the activities as she provided
the necessary support.
The puzzle carpet activity was fun and creative.
It was a great lesson to observe. The lesson’s objectives have been met.
Areas for development: Questions using bloom’s taxonomy. The questions should be applicable
to the students and not the teacher. For example, “assessing the students at the end of the class”
is a teacher’s function and not the students’
