INTRODUCTION-

 Tourism is Fast growing industry which contributes


enormously to the growth of country‘s economy and making
the tourist feel at home is an integral part of making the
industry grows.
There has been large increase in number of peoples out of
tours , for the sake of recreation and entertainment.

SCOPE-
The developing tourist industry proposes higher and higher
demands to the intelligent tourist guide system, which can take place
of the traditional artificial guide service. Functions of intelligent
automatic interpretation, real time navigation, intelligent route
planning and surrounding service reminder are included in it
.

OBJECTIVE-
 Main objective is when user are on move , it is able to provide
reach and concise information timely and make them access to
service anytime anywhere. The Proposed system based on request
and response , so there is no continuous acquisition of bandwidth.

EXISTING SYSTEM-
 In Earlier tourism system, whenever a tourist visits famous spots,
to know more about the place he hires a guide. The hired guide then
narrates history of the place and there is no surety that all narrate
story is true. The visitor is not aware about location or place before
going there, hence the whole information is hidden by visitors and
that is the main disadvantage of visitors.

PROPOSED SYSTEM-
In our system basically we have two modules one for
recommendation to the user and second for the notification to the
use using Google map.

Advantages
Registered user gets the recommendation of the places of their
preferences.
They can find the places using this system.
User can easily view the place on map with its description, image
and address.
The system also provides one food place in the results.
System GUI is easy to use.
The system in robust and secure in nature.

Disadvantages
User cannot book a tour package using this system.
It may provide inaccurate results if data entered incorrectly.

CONCLUSION-
The main idea of this was to design a system that will run on
most of phones and palms and will be helpful when visiting some
new places and cities. This system should be able to find a route
using user criteria.
