Electric Motor
An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy
into mechanical energy. An electric generator operates in the reverse
direction, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy.
Most electric motors operate through the interaction between the motor's
magnetic field and winding currents to generate force. In certain
applications, such as in regenerative braking with traction motors, electric
motors can be used in reverse as generators to recover energy that might
otherwise be lost as heat and friction.
Magnet Powered Vehicle
The magnetic car works by using the repelling
power of magnets. One magnet's north pole is
placed at the back of the toy car, and the other
magnet's south pole is attached at the front of
the car. The third “control” magnet pushes the
car forward by repelling the poles of the
magnets attached to the car.
Biology
Digestive System
The nutrition of human beings
[ or man] takes place through
human digestive system . The
human digestive system
consists of the alimentary
canal and its associated
glands . The various organs of
the human digestive system
are : Mouth , oesophagus ,
stomach , small intestine ,
large intestine .The glands
associated with the
human digestive system are :
salivary glands, liver and
pancreas
Excretory System
Excretory system is the organ
system of our body which helps in
removing waste from our body . It
has three main parts - kidneys,
urinary bladder and anus. Kidneys
filter the urine and urine is stored at
the bladder and when the bladder
gets filled urine is released through
the anus.
Circulatory System
The circulatory system is made up of
blood vessels that carry blood away
from and towards the heart. Arteries
carry blood away from the heart and
veins carry blood back to the heart.
The circulatory system carries oxygen,
nutrients, and hormones to cells, and
removes waste products, like carbon
dioxide. These roadways travel in one
direction only, to keep things going
where they should.
Respiratory System
The air , passes through the nostrils.
The air that is passing is filtered by the fine hairs , which lines the
passage.
Also , mucus helps in lining the passage , in the process involved.
From here , air passes through the throat and then into the lungs
In the throat , rings of cartilage are present , which ensures that
the air passage does not collapse.
In the lungs , the passage is divided into very smaller tubes , that
terminate into balloon like structures known as alveoli.
Alveoli is a surface that helps in the exchange of gases.
Extensive network of blood vessels is present in the walls of
alveoli
When we breathe in , our ribs are lifted and diaphragm is
flattened.
As a result , chest cavity becomes larger in size.
Therefore ,the air is sucked into the lungs , expanding the alveoli
Carbon dioxide are released into the alveoli by blood.
Oxygen in the alveolar air is taken by alveolar blood vessels , and
is transported to all the cells in the body.
Nervous System
Many nerves cells forms linked structure which
connects various parts of body with brain and spinal
cord.
Sensory nerves cells sends various types of stimuli
towards CNS such as light , sound , touch etc.
This work is performed by electrochemical
impulses also known as Nerve impulses
It transfer stimuli from sensory organs { skin ,
tongue , nose , ears and eyes } to CNS
Nerve impulses weakness as it reaches from
dendrons to axon only .
Such slow impulses are made more stronger at the
junction {synapse} by neurotransmitter substance
and sends further.
Signal from central nervous system are transfereed
via motar nerves and activates muscle and glands
Chemistry
Modern Periodic Table
Modern Periodic Table Law
Periodic Table: It is the table of chemical elements
arranged in order of atomic number such that
elements with similar atomic structure appear in the
vertical columns.
Modern periodic law: The Modern periodic law
states “The chemical and physical properties of
elements are a periodic function of their atomic
numbers”. Modern periodic table is based on the
modern periodic law.
