Romero Photography

Photography was invented in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, who took the first photograph using a sheet of pewter coated with bitumen that required an 8 hour exposure. In 1839, Louis Daguerre partnered with Niépce and developed a process to reduce exposure time. Major developments included the roll of film by George Eastman in 1889, the 35mm format Leica camera in 1925, color film in 1936, and the Polaroid instant camera in 1948.
