INTRODUCTION
Brazil is the largest country in South America and the fifth
largest in the world. Its capital is Brasília, and the official
language is Portuguese. Brazil has a population of over 215
million people. It is famous for its Carnival, the Amazon
Rainforest, beautiful beaches, and love for football and
music.

Brazil is home to the Amazon Rainforest, known as “the


lungs of the Earth.”
It has more monkey species than any other country in the
world.
The Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro is one of
the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Brazil also has some of the most famous beaches in the
world, like Copacabana and Ipanema.

FOOTBALL

Football is the most popular sport in Brazil and a


huge part of the country’s identity.Brazil is the only
country to win the FIFA World Cup five times: in
1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002.The Brazilian
team is known for its passion, creativity, and
attacking style of play.The yellow and green national
jersey is famous all over the world.Brazil has
produced legendary players like Pelé, who is
considered one of the greatest footballers of all time.
LEGENDARY BRAZILIAN
FOOTBALLERS
Brazil has given the world some of the greatest footballers in
history.
Pelé – Known as "The King of Football," Pelé won 3 World Cups
(1958, 1962, 1970). He scored over 1,000 goals in his career
and became a global sports icon.
Ronaldo Nazário – A powerful striker with amazing speed and
dribbling. He won 2 World Cups (1994, 2002) and was named
FIFA World Player of the Year three times.
Ronaldinho – Famous for his magical skills, tricks, and joyful
style of play. He won the Ballon d'Or in 2005 and made fans
smile with every touch.
Romário – A legendary goalscorer who helped Brazil win the
1994 World Cup. He scored over 700 goals in his career.
MODERN BRAZILIAN STARS
Brazil continues to produce amazing football talent today.

Neymar Jr. – One of the biggest football stars of this generation. Neymar is known for his speed
dribbling, and flair. He played for top clubs like Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, and he is on
of Brazil’s top all-time scorers.

Alisson Becker – One of the best goalkeepers in the world, playing for Liverpool.

Casemiro – A strong midfielder known for his intelligence and leadership, who played for Real
Madrid and now Manchester United.
