Engineer shall obtain MTCs (Material Test Certificate), Delivery challans of construction materials, etc., of all materials brought to site and shall record the same as per instructions The site supervisor shall also Verify & Certify material test certificates received from contractor and maintain a record of TCs and Inspection reports. 10) Ensure preliminary preparation of different stages of work-related activities i.e., layout, strata, RCC work, masonry work, plastering, painting, water proofing, plumbing etc., before commencement of new activity, 11) Supervision of construction activities as per contract agreement. 12) Certification and verification of joint measurement sheets which are recorded by contractor along with representatives. 13) Prepare progress chart. 14) Maintain daily and weekly reports format finalized 15) Follow up with contractor for execution of work as per given specifications/drawings or as per Engineer's instruction. 16) Detailed study of the specifications of the project, drawings etc. 17) To check the shuttering drawings prepared by contractor especially for the canopy shuttering above 4.5m height. 18) Certify the material received at site against factory test certificate by verifying make grade/ batch number, heat number etc. 19) Ensure workmanship of all items. 20) Ensure concrete cubes are taken for cube test and maintain record of the same, i.e., casting date & testing date. 21) Ensure safety at site by enforcing PPEs and life savers rule. 22) Check measurement on daily basis as per format. 23) To work out excess/saving quantities against PO quantity. 24) To record measurements with diagrams/sketches of site activities on daily basis jointly with contractor on measurement sheets and submit the same to engineer. 25) Maintain all records and drawings on site. Engineer shall keep records of all inspection reports (Material & Process), lab test reports, all inward approved construction material and rejected material.
