Job Description
As a Group Legal Counsel at our company based in Pune, you will be responsible for handling various legal matters related to commercial service contracts, master services agreement, statements of work, consulting and independent contractor agreements, employment agreements, software license agreements, and software reseller agreements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Structuring, drafting, vetting, negotiation, and closing of the aforementioned agreements with extensive exposure to contracting and negotiating in the US and India, and preferred exposure in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and African Continent. - Ensuring that all negotiated contracts comply with internal policies and standards, finalizing contracts, collecting signatures, and properly archiving them in the contracts database. - Independently managing timely delivery in the mentioned areas and assessing commercial disputes and claims, summarizing them for decision-makers in Legal and Business. - Experience in managing litigation and dealing with insurance carriers, outside counsel, and opposing counsel will be preferred. - Providing support to internal functions such as HR, Admin, Finance, Visa Cell, etc., in their day-to-day legal matters. - Conducting training seminars for employees and handling other legal matters on an as-needed basis.
