Job Description
As an Automation Test Engineer at CresTech, you will be responsible for the following: - Having a good knowledge of popular Automation tools and proficient knowledge in programming languages such as Java. - Creating, modifying, debugging, and executing test scripts for web/mobile applications using Java and Selenium WebDriver tool. - Reporting defects and tracking them using any Defect Management Tool. - Managing tests using Test Management tools like Zephyr, Jira, MF ALM QC, or TFS. - Involvement in the creation of frameworks and reporting test results and status reports regularly to the Team Lead. - Understanding methodologies like Agile and Waterfall. - Hands-on experience with GUI based Test Automation tools for desktop and/or Mobile Automation using Appium. - Experience with other tools like Appium testing will be an added advantage. - Working with different test frameworks like Robot, TOSCA, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Capgemini ADAPT, and device farm solutions like Perfecto, Experitest, or AWS frameworks will be a big plus. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of version management tools and repository tools like Git, GitHub, Bit Bucket, and CI & Build tools such as Junit, Jenkins, Gradle, etc. - Ability to create/manage execution pipelines on Azure Devops, Browser stack. - Familiarity with modern Agile practices such as BDD/Cucumber, DevOps. - Understanding the process of Test Automation tool selection & test approach. - Strong hands-on experience in implementing various Automated Testing Solutions including Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman, and LoadRunner.
