Job Description
As a Bi-lingual HR Officer and Trainer for a Food and Beverages Business, your role involves a wide range of key duties and responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (digital and paper), ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. - Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts, new hire packets, and termination paperwork. - Manage the HR department's email account and internal/external inquiries, directing complex issues to senior HR staff. - Organize and schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events, maintaining calendars and agendas for the HR management team. - Track employee work hours, attendance, and leave requests, often with automated approvals. Recruitment & Onboarding: - Assist with the full recruitment life cycle, including posting job advertisements on various platforms and screening resumes. - Coordinate interview logistics, schedule appointments for candidates and hiring managers, and conduct initial phone screens. - Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and organize onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration process. - Conduct reference and background checks for potential new hires. - Assist with benefits administration, including processing enrollment forms, answering employee questions about coverage, and coordinating annual open enrollment. - Process documentation related to employee compensation, benefits, and salary changes. - Handle ESIC & PF filings. Employee Relations & Compliance: - Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. - Assist in the implementation of HR policies and company-wide procedures. - Support employee engagement initiatives and help plan company events. - Ensure compliance with state and local labor laws and regulations, assisting with audits as needed. Employee Training: - Assist in staff uniform design and sourcing. - Design customer service training programs and conduct on-site periodic staff training on customer relationship management, etiquette, grooming, communication skills. - Monitor staff efficiency in order fulfillment techniques. Experience Required: - 1-2 years with hands-on knowledge of ESIC and EFPO portal and filings. Additional Details: - Job Type: Full-time - Work Location: 70% work from home and 30% from the office, with a fortnightly work from the office in Kochi.
