Job Description
Role Overview: As an experienced IoT Manager with over 13 years of experience, your role at Propel Industries will involve leading IoT development and deployment for all Crushing & Screening (C&S) products. You will collaborate with various teams to implement end-to-end IoT solutions that enhance machine capabilities, remote monitoring, and predictive maintenance, ultimately improving customer uptime. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the IoT roadmap for all C&S equipment, including stationary crushers, mobile crushers, screens, and washing systems. - Architect complete IoT systems covering sensors, controllers, gateways, connectivity modules, and cloud integration. - Standardize IoT hardware and data models across product lines for uniformity and scalability. - Select, test, and validate industrial-grade sensors for monitoring various parameters. - Integrate sensors and telematics modules into both stationary and mobile crusher electrical architectures. - Oversee firmware development, embedded coding validation, and edge device configuration. - Ensure reliable connectivity for mobile crushers using various protocols like CAN, Modbus, MQTT, RS485, GPS, and Wi-Fi. - Lead cloud dashboard development for real-time health monitoring, utilization tracking, alerts, and predictive maintenance. - Define telemetry KPIs and data structures for monitoring crusher performance and downtime events. - Conduct field trials and validation for IoT-enabled equipment in quarry and mining environments. - Troubleshoot system issues related to sensors, connectivity, firmware, and cloud communication. - Collaborate with different teams for successful IoT implementation and support service teams with remote diagnostics. - Manage IoT vendors, telematics partners, and hardware suppliers to ensure quality and reliability. - Ensure compliance with industrial safety, EMC standards, electrical guidelines, and cybersecurity requirements. - Prepare system documentation, wiring diagrams, validation reports, and integration manuals. - Lead large-scale deployment of IoT solutions across all crusher platforms and customer sites. - Drive improvements in machine uptime, operator efficiency, and predictive maintenance through IoT data insights. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in IoT architecture, industrial sensors, telematics, and communication protocols. - Experience with embedded systems, edge computing, and industrial gateways. - Hands-on experience in heavy equipment, mining machinery, or off-highway mobile equipment. - Knowledge of cloud IoT platforms such as AWS, Azure, ThingsBoard, or equivalent. - Understanding of predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and analytics. - Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and IoT hardware compliance standards.,
