Job Description
As a Supplier Relations Manager in the US Staffing Industry, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic direction for supply chain design and best practices, supporting new client implementations, and leading a team to ensure clients have access to talent. Your focus will be on managing, maturing, and expanding relationships across the global supplier network, particularly in the India & APAC regions. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure supplier coverage in assigned region(s) and/or country(ies) - Build & maintain strong relationships with suppliers, developing a deep understanding of the supplier network - Create market maps to aid global expansion of the supplier network - Act as a Subject Matter Expert in market research, developing expert knowledge of key markets - Lead Supplier Onboarding Workstream in new client implementations and expansions - Act as an escalation point for Supplier Onboarding & Offboarding to ensure timely execution of agreements - Provide sales support by detailing RFx responses on bids and presenting Supply Chain Management strategy to clients and prospects - Design and deliver Supplier Events on a regional/country level - Line manage a small team of Specialists, mentoring and developing direct reports - Support departmental projects and initiatives, contributing to operational excellence and IT enhancements Qualifications Required: - Experience in a similar Supply Chain role or deep knowledge of MSP, RPO, SoW, Staffing & Outsourcing - Experience as a line manager, ideally of a regional/globally dispersed team - Fluent in English to a professional level, additional Indian Language proficiency is advantageous - Comfortable presenting to internal & external audiences - Excellent customer service, administrative, and organizational skills - Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen - Strong IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint - Knowledge of Recruitment and Employment Legislation - Experience with supplier contracts and legal terminology - Familiarity with recruitment technology such as VMS and/or ATS - Experience with Salesforce and Supplier Management Tools is an advantage You will also be required to travel occasionally (less than 10%) and may be involved in ad hoc projects as requested by department management.
