Job Description
Role Overview: You will join our Fund administration team in Mumbai as a Fund Accounting & Reporting Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end processes related to securities and portfolio/fund valuation for client segments such as Mutual Fund, Alternative Investment Fund, and Portfolio Managers. You will have the opportunity to work with top names in the fund industry and gain exposure to diverse funds like Money market, Equity, Arbitrage, Exchange traded, and hybrid funds. The team utilizes a robust platform that offers flexibility to tailor the system according to local needs and regulations. Expert support and coaching will be provided to help you excel in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Compute and reconcile Net Asset Value (NAV), check income accruals, NAV movement, etc. - Review Bank and Holding reconciliations, resolve any breaks. - Process and verify all trades for the day in the system. - Conduct valuation/pricing of securities. - Coordinate with clients and Registrars for trades and Unit Capital files. - Monitor email instructions for trades, including Custody instructions. - Compute Income equalization and distributable surplus. - Disseminate NAV to the Press, Registrar, etc. - Scrutinize Trial Balance. - Coordinate audits and finalize accounts.
