Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for ETL processes and database functionalities. - Understanding data flow and transformation logic to create impactful test cases. - Performing data validation and verification to maintain data accuracy and consistency. - Writing SQL queries to validate ETL outputs and ensure data integrity in relational databases. - Collaborating with data engineers and developers to address data quality issues. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and test results in a bug tracking system. - Participating in requirement gathering, sprint planning, and project retrospectives. Key Requirements: - 5-8 years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on ETL and database testing. - Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and database testing. - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding database concepts. - Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar technologies. - Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools is advantageous. - Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and determine testing requirements. - Strong communication skills to effectively articulate issues and collaborate with the team. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
