As a Security & Asset Protection Officer, your role involves ensuring the security and protection of property, personnel, material, and information in the assigned zone. You will lead a team of company officers and outsourced staff under the supervision of the Zonal Security Head. Your key responsibilities include: - Checking and deploying adequate manpower for managing access control and property protection in the zone. - Monitoring the validation of incoming/outgoing vehicles, personnel, and materials. - Randomly checking material gate passes and verifying authorized signatures. - Ensuring smooth and incident-free traffic movement within the company premises. - Updating and planning strategic initiatives for the improvement of the Access Control System. In terms of qualifications, the necessary education requirement for this role is a graduate degree in any discipline. Additionally, the following qualifications are desirable: - Post-graduate degree in any field. - Knowledge of criminal, IR, and labor law such as LLB/LLM. - Training in Traffic & Road Safety from institutions like IIMs (Delhi & Bangalore), state traffic police, or RGSS road safety management PGM. - Completion of VIP Protection Courses from RGSS, SPG, NSG, or Defence Services. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in security functions, specifically with RGSS, Asset Protection & Access Control Officer, Intelligence & Vigilance Officer, or Assistant Security Executive.
