Job Description
As a Delivery Manager at our company, you will be responsible for delivering large and complex programs within budget and schedule while ensuring high-quality solutions for UST customers. Your role will involve managing a portfolio with a Total Contract Value (TCV) of $3-5 million and implementing a robust governance model involving internal and customer stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:** - Drive adoption of delivery plans, standards, processes, best software engineering practices, infrastructure, RACI matrix, and RAID logs. - Provide thought leadership to foster a culture of innovation and develop novel solutions. - Manage the P&L of a portfolio with TCV of $3-5 million. - Support portfolio growth objectives of 10-15% year-over-year (YoY). - Implement digital transformation programs focusing on service improvements and proposing innovative ideas. - Build and manage a span of control of 60-100 associates, provide mentoring, ensure team engagement, and develop organizational capabilities. - Optimize delivery processes within budget constraints. - Apply financial levers to improve delivery cost and engagement profitability. - Engage with key client stakeholders to ensure delivery meets customer expectations. - Conduct periodic reviews to track delivery milestones and processes. - Ensure effective participation in Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings. **Measures of Success:** - Revenue vs. targets - Profitability vs. targets - Digital Services Mix vs. targets - Services Penetration Mix vs. targets - Transformational value delivered to clients - Customer satisfaction - People satisfaction **Domain / Industry Knowledge:** - Forecast business requirements and market trends. - Engage with key client stakeholders and recommend UST services and solutions. - Manage domain-related project management issues and validate customer strategy roadmaps. **Technology Concepts:** - Recommend appropriate frameworks and solutions. - Identify relevant technologies/products for the short term. - Guide solution teams and connect with customer technology officers. - Leverage suitable tools and accelerators. **Profitability Management:** - Create profitability sheets and enable outcome-based pricing models. - Present profitability analysis to senior management and monitor project profitability. - Develop cost-benefit models and implement margin improvement strategies. **Pricing & Licensing Models:** - Develop integrated pricing models and guide teams on pricing techniques. - Interact with stakeholders during deal processes and optimize key business levers. **Account Management Processes & Tools:** - Prepare internal reports and collaborate with account teams. - Independently manage at least one $3-5 million account and create aligned account plans. **Project Management:** - Plan and manage large, complex projects and implement best practices. - Identify risks proactively and enforce quality goals and processes. **Team Management:** - Manage managers effectively and resolve conflicts transparently. - Maintain positive internal stakeholder relationships and demonstrate approachability. **Stakeholder Management:** - Manage escalations and support vendor/partner management activities. **Estimation & Resource Planning:** - Consolidate and validate estimates and conduct resource planning. - Review and negotiate estimates and analyze impacts of changes. **Knowledge Management (KM):** - Ensure KM plans/platforms exist and promote continuous knowledge sharing. **Requirements Management:** - Identify deviations in requirements gathering and assess quality of requirements. **Solution Structuring:** - Customize UST services to customer needs and provide thought leadership. - Develop complex solutions and recommend technology accelerators/tools. **Benefits Management:** - Identify, track, and report SMART benefits and measure program impact. - Devise action plans and steer programs toward vision with sustained benefits. **Essential Skills:** - Account strategy planning - Risk identification and mitigation planning - Project planning and task breakdown - Effective communication - Delegation and team contribution management - Optimization of project timelines - Management of external contracted resources **Knowledge & Certifications:** - Project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps) - Relevant technologies for project delivery - Business strategy and processes - Financial plan and budget compliance - Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) principles - Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, CSM **Additional Responsibilities:** - Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects/programs. - Serve as primary client contact and manage communication. - Monitor project metrics and ensure SLA and contract compliance. - Continuously improve delivery processes and client satisfaction. - Support pre-sales and solution design efforts. - Collaborate with finance on P&L and resource forecasting. - Work with talent acquisition for workforce planning. **Required Experience:** - 15+ years in IT project delivery, including significant experience as Delivery Manager or Program Manager. - Proven track record managing large, complex projects and distributed teams. - Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. - Experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in U.S./UK banking or financial services domain. - You will be responsible for the following tasks and qualifications: **Role Overview:** As an experienced Oracle Fusion professional, you will lead the support and maintenance initiatives for Oracle Fusion ERP system.
