Role Overview:
You will be a self-driven and dynamic candidate with a strong marketing/sales background. Your main responsibilities will include generating leads in the C&I segment of power consumers who are interested in procuring RE power or setting up RE power plants. You should be well-versed in Open Access Regulations across different states in India for the sale of RE power. Your role will involve business development in the assigned region to acquire new customers and increase sales revenue quarter after quarter. You will be accountable for achieving top-line and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating leads through various channels for C&I segment power consumers interested in procuring RE power or setting up RE power plants
- Understanding and applying Open Access Regulations across different states in India for the sale of RE power
- Business development in the assigned region to acquire new customers and increase sales revenue
- Achieving top-line and margin targets
- Sales promotion, customer relationship management, market research, and competitor analysis
- Formulating strategies and exploring unexplored market segments for business expansion
- Reviewing market response, requirements, and changes and communicating them to management
- Analysis of RFP/RFQ, solution/proposal development, product presentation, negotiation, order procurement, and relationship management
- Scanning and analyzing emerging business scenarios in Power, Steel, Mining, and Port sectors
- Executing end-to-end marketing strategy, including web marketing
- Assisting the marketing head in developing marketing collaterals and advertising
- Techno-commercial negotiation, timely order processing, and offer processing
- Maintaining proper documentation and feedback for all activities of Industrial Customer
- Making sales calls and inquiries to achieve predefined sales targets
- Extensive travel required for maintaining and developing new markets
- Driving the company's sales and promotions during fairs and exhibitions
- Finding new ways to enlist more clients and customers
Qualification Required:
- Strong marketing/sales background
- Knowledge of Open Access Regulations for the sale of RE power in different states of India
- Experience in lead generation and business development
- Ability to achieve sales targets with a high sense of accountability
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively for market development
- Proven track record in customer acquisition and revenue growth in the power sector
