Akakikusu (アカキクス) is a Japanese Hero main with a Sora secondary from Kansai who is currently residing in Kantō, who is considered the greatest Hero player of all time. He made his debut during the COVID-19 pandemic, most notably placing 3rd at Kagaribi 3. While inconsistent throughout 2023, he made a resurgence in 2024, such as placing 5th at DELTA 8 and 3rd Sumabato SP 51, the latter marking one of Hero's best supermajor placements that year. In addition, Akakikusu has taken victories over players like acola, Miya, Raru, and MkLeo. His runner-up placement at UltCore 5th marked the closest time a Hero player came to winning an undisputed major.
On October 2nd, 2022, Akakikusu was signed by LAKE GAMING.[1]
