Jewel Usain

Jewel Usain, real name Yoann Jeanville, is a French rapper born on September 25, 1989 in Argenteuil, Val-d'Oise. He began composing as a child, but it wasn't until 2011 that he recorded his first track, thanks to the support of his sound engineer friend Sy. Among his first tracks is "Tu Trappelles". In 2015, he released his first mixtape, La Rage au Ventre, followed in 2018 by the EP Tel. In 2020, he unveiled three tracks accompanied by clips directed by Kidhao: "Skateboard", "CTRL" and "Bruce Lee". The following year, he releases the En Mode Difficile EP. In 2023, Jewel Usain released the 17-track album Où les Garçons Grandissent, featuring the single "Je reste là" and collaborations with Prince Waly, Tuerie, Béesau & Hedges, and Saintdoss. This opus marks a significant stage in his career, where he claims to have found his true musical identity, an evolution validated by the public during his tour. His musical style is characterized by organic sounds with jazz and soul undertones, reflecting influences from artists such as Childish Gambino. In December 2023, Jewel Usain was invited to perform on the COLORS platform, reinforcing his visibility and confirming his status as an accomplished artist on the French rap scene.
