Humble Bundle - Doctor Who Ultimate RPG Collection

My memories of Doctor Who go back to my pre-teen and teen summers spent in the Poconos. We had one channel on the TV, a PBS station, Channel 44, WVIA. Surprisingly, it was one of the better PBS stations I ever encountered, having not just Doctor Who and various British comedies, but later even Star Trek: The Next Generation. 

My fond memories of Doctor Who only cover the first few doctors and I never watched any later Doctor Who Doctors. That being said, I know the IP has a huge fandom, and I suspect the sourcebooks included in the Doctor Who Ultimate RPG Collection Bundle will be valuable even to those with little intention of playing the RPG.

Humble Bundle - Doctor Who RPG (Cubicle 7)

I was a passing fan of Doctor Who in my teen years and used to watch the show on PBS over summers spent in the Poconos. As an adult, I've observed from afar, but fans of Doctor Who are, quite often I have found, HUGE fans of Doctor Who and the lore attached to it.

Humble Bundle - Sounds of Adventure - Doctor Who Audio Dramas

I need to confess that my Doctor Who knowledge is from the earlier series of Doctor Who when they were on PBS in my teen years and early 20s. I seem to remember lots of funny-looking (and even funnier sounding) enemy robots, but the Doctor always found a way to succeed in the end.

I've become addicted to audiobooks and radio dramas in my later years, as I find them more engaging than the written word, while still giving my imagination full range to fill in the blanks with traditional books.

So, it looks like the current Humble Bundle for Doctor Who Audio Dramas is going to be my next pick-up.

18 bucks get you 17 titles. That's nearly a buck per drama. I can dig that :)

The Tavern Chat Podcast - Episode 99 - LotR RPG Bundle, Torchwood Bundle and More

My ass is dragging this morning. But hey, sleeping from 5 am to 10 am is perfectly normal...

Doctor Who RPG at Humble Bundle - Starting at a Buck!

I'll be the first to say I don't follow Doctor Who all that closely. Sure, I used to watch the earlier Doctors on PBS in my younger days and in truth, I had no idea WTF was going on. Cheap and campy scifi for the win, it was still fun even if I was lost while watching.

I understand there is some controversy over the next season / next Doctor. Whatever.

All I know is for 15 bucks I know have access to all of the Doctor Who history that I never knew I wanted, but now I find that I do. Its by Cubicle 7 too. I expect quality when I get around to reading these.
