At long last, I've finally compiled the Mortal Kombat doodles I've posted to my other blogs onto one. In addition to that, all future MK doodles will now be posted on this blog. This way, I can post all the silly MK doodles to my heart's content ^_^

So sorry for the lack of activity here (aside from the doodle I just posted!) I was expecting to be brought back into MK brainrot when Ermac came out. Then out of no where, I got into Tekken (99% because of Steve Fox π) MK is still and forever one of my top FG series, but as of rn I've been focused a bit more on Tekken.
If you happen to like Tekken as well, then you can find some of my drawings on my main art blog and a few on my regular personal blog too (they're mainly of Steve Fox tho)

I swear if MK9 Tomas were survived, Kuai Liang would spend his life with Tomas in Lin Kuei together. May as well acting like a married couple, as Tomas becomes the Grandmaster Kuai Liang's second in command, the most trusted person, the most loyal member of Lin Kuei..

I sure do! If I remember correctly, Kuai always sternly brushed off any sort of playful/flirting from others in certain intro banters. He definitely only had eyes for Tomas even after his unfortunate demise.

Do you still like Kuai Liang and Tomas as a ship in MK1? I ship them since MK9, and after seeing how sweet their bond is in MK1, I just can't help but still shipping them together.. ππ

I love the bond they have and am glad that is still a thing in the new era. However, it's apparent that they're adopted siblings (since Bi-Han+Kuai's dad technically took Smoke in as his own.) Because of that, I feel this time around they are too much like actual brothers for me to be comfortable shipping them romantically. While they aren't blood-related, they still see each other as family, so I'd rather not try ship the two.
I wish NRS could have at least considered making them a canon pairing or even just hints at romance instead. There really was so much compatibility between the two in MK9. That time around there was more leeway to choose if you wanted to pair them as a ship since it was established they were childhood friends. (I constantly analyze just how well-established their bond was the first time they appear in MK9s story!! I could go on and on...)
While I don't ship them romantically in the new era, I will still be happy to draw the two together in non-romantic but still closely bonded settings.
