Corría el año 1983 cuando la Agrupación de Flautistas de Madrid decidió organizar un concierto en homenaje a los compañeros jubilados en los últimos años. El concierto se celebró en el auditorio del Real Conservatorio de Madrid, en su antigua sede del Teatro Real, a cargo de una treintena de flautistas de las diferentes orquestas sinfónicas y bandas de música de Madrid. Tuve el privilegio de realizar la grabación del acto, coordinado por Pepe Domínguez, Pepe Oliver y Andrés Carreres, tres flautistas de talla internacional.
The year was 1983 when the Agrupación de Flautistas de Madrid decided to organize a concert in tribute to fellow retirees in recent years. The concert was held in the auditorium of the Royal Conservatory of Madrid, in its former headquarters of the Royal Theatre, by around thirty flutists from different symphony orchestras and bands of Madrid. I was privileged to make the recording of the event, coordinated by Pepe Domínguez, Pepe Oliver and Andrés Carreres, three flautist of international prestige.
