앰비손테스
Ambisontes암비손테스(갈리아어: '이손티아 주변 사람들')는 로마 시대 살자크 계곡 상류에 살았던 갈리아 부족이다.
이름.
플리니(기원후 [1]1기)에 의해 암비손테스(Ambisontes)로,[2] 프톨레마이오스(기원후 2기)에 의해 암비손티오이(Ambssontioi)로 언급되었다.
갈리아 민족 이름인 암비손테스는 '이손티아 주변의 사람들'을 의미하며, 이손티아 강의 이름에 붙어 있는 [3][4]어근 *amb(i)- ('주변, 양쪽')에서 유래했다.꼭 켈트어는 아니지만 인도-유럽어에서 유래했을 가능성이 높고 *[h]]ish₁-ont-('빨리 움직이는 그녀')[5]에서 유래할 수 있다.
지리
Ambisontes는 Salzach 강의 상류 계곡에 살았다.그들의 영토는 사에바테스강과 라이안치강 북쪽, 알라우니강 남쪽, 브레우니강과 [6]코수아네테스강 동쪽이었다.
역사
그들은 대 플리니에 의해 기원전 16-15년에 로마에 의해 정복된 알파인 부족들 중 하나로 언급되고 있으며, 그들의 이름은 트로파이움 [1]알피움에 새겨져 있다.
