코지토는 라임과 박하로 만든 달콤한 칵테일이며, 전형적으로 럼주와 코코넛이 있다. 모히토의 변종이지만, 일반적으로 코코넛 맛을 더한다. 코코넛 밀크나 코코넛 맛 리큐어를 첨가하거나, 블루 체어 베이, 크루잔 코코넛 또는 말리부 같은 코코넛 맛 럼주를 사용하여 할 수 있다.[1][2][3][4][5] 칵테일 잔의 테두리에 있는 코코넛도 사용될 수 있다.[6] 코코넛 럼을 사용하면 코지토에게 모히토보다 더 '열대'한 맛을 준다.[3] 강한 민트 맛은 몇몇 사람들이 사용하는 신선한 민트 잎의 양을 하향 조정하도록 이끌지도 모른다.[5]
