mRNA 해독 효소 1A 는 인간에서 DCP1A 유전자 에 의해 암호화된 단백질 이다.[5]
디코딩은 일반적으로 규제된 mRNA 붕괴의 핵심 단계다. 이 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질은 해독 효소다. 이 단백질과 또 다른 해독 효소는 해독 복합체를 형성하며, 이 복합체는 난센스 매개 부패 계수 hUpf1과 상호작용하며 조기 종단 코돈을 포함하는 mRNA에 모집될 수 있다. 이 단백질은 또한 TGF-베타 신호 경로에 참여한다.[5]
