마르 다디쇼는 서기 421년부터 456년까지 동양의 카톨릭 신자였다. 카톨릭 신자로 재위하던 중 AD 424년 동방교회는 다른 모든 교회로부터 독립하여 마르 다디쇼가 총대주교 칭호를 받아 셀레우치아-테시폰의 첫 가톨릭 신자가 되었다.[1]
